Amazon Prime Video has recently announced and informed all its users that it will bring a ‘Limited Ads’ feature to its videos, and users will have a better content-streaming experience.     Limited Ads While Watching Videos on Amazon Prime

    Amazon has informed its users about an ‘upcoming change to your Prime Video experience”. In this move, Prime Video users will see limited ads while watching videos. There will not be any changes to already subscribed members, nor will there be any changes in the interface of the platform. However, these ads will be shown to all members, paid or unpaid. 

    This move is just for Amazon to bring in meaningful ad-viewing and investment models to its business strategy. However, Prime Video’s executive members have claimed that there will always be fewer ads than on TV for the users, so that their video-watching experience will remain unhampered. 

    The new limited ads change in Amazon Prime will be live from the 17th of June, 2025.

    Change in Subscription Model

    For those who want to watch videos, shows, and web series on Amazon Prime Video without ads, you get a new add-on subscription model. 

    Prime Video Home Page Subscription

    Prime Video stated that “we will also offer a new ad-free add-on option for an additional price of Rs. 699 per year, and Rs. 129 per month.”

    This means that you need to get this add-on model after the 17th to continue watching ad-free content on Amazon Prime, or else, you should get ready to press the skip buttons.
