Last year, Motorola launched Moto Edge X30 in China as the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 carrying device. Now, this handset is all set to arrive in India with the Moto Edge 30 Pro moniker. Yes, it will indeed be rebranded with that moniker, as per multiple reliable reports and leaks. The Moto Edge 30 Pro launch date in India has been scheduled for February 24 2022, which is tomorrow.
Flipkart has put up a dedicated microsite for the handset. This reveals the launch date for the handset. Besides, the Flipkart launch poster also unveils and confirms that the upcoming smartphone will indeed come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This automatically backs up the suggestions of it being a rebranded Edge X30. We also now know that the upcoming smartphone will go on sale via Flipkart.

Moto Edge 30 Pro 5G Price in India & Specifications (Expected)
The Edge 30 Pro is expected to come with a price tag of Rs. 49,999. In addition, buyers can get it for as low as Rs. 44,999 with bank offers as part of launch offer.

Talking about specifications, the upcoming flagship device features a 6.7-inch POLED display. Additionally, this is a 10-bit display which offers a staggering 144Hz refresh rate as well. Under the hood, as mentioned before, the Moto Edge 30 Pro is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. This octa-core chipset will pair up with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Moving to photography and videography capabilities, the handset sports a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the device flaunts a whopping 60-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
In terms of battery, we will get to see a big 5000mAh battery. This rated battery capacity will pair up with 68W fast charging support. When it comes to software, the device will run on Android 12 OS right out of the box.
