After the recent launch of the Apple iPhone 13 series, Apple is now gearing up for the launch of its successor, the Apple iPhone 14 series. Many new changes are expected in the new lineup, including that there is no iPhone 14 Mini model. One of the biggest changes will be the camera – the new iPhones will probably come with a 48-megapixel camera.
A report by Bloomberg says, “The company is also working to eventually bring satellite connectivity to the Apple Watch, setting the stage for emergency texting and SOS response features.” Many speculations say these phones might support satellite communication for emergencies.

What to Expect from Satellite Connectivity?
There had been many speculations that the iPhone 13 series might support satellite communications for emergencies. This feature, however, was not present in the iPhone 13 series. Therefore, we cannot sure whether the iPhone 14 series will support satellite communication.
The satellite communication feature will not be available for daily activities like general web browsing or streaming videos. Instead, it is meant to send text messages to emergency personnel over satellite networks and report incidents during emergencies. The phones will come with an “Emergency message via Contacts” feature. This will allow users to send short messages in emergencies and inconsistent network connectivity.

Though we expect this feature to be there in the iPhone 14 series, there is no clarity regarding which models will include the feature. This might be a model-specific feature, or it might be present in all the models. There has been no confirmation from the company whether the phone will have this feature.

Apple has not disclosed any information regarding the features and specifications of the iPhone 14. Many tipsters and experts have leaked details online, which show that the phone will only have e-SIMs and no nano-SIMs option. The A16 Bionic chipset is expected to power the phone.
According to the leaked CAD renders, iPhone 14 Pro does not have the bathtub-like notch. Instead, it will have a punch-hole crack and a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor. It will, in all probability, come with a 6.1-inch display, keeping its form factor the same as the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro.
