A New Instagram Story Reshare Feature Is Added: All You Need To Know About This Update
Instagram has started to roll out the latest December updates to all devices and Instagram users. If you are using the latest version of Instagram, you will find a new Story Reshare Feature.
This new feature allows you to reshare stories of public Instagram account holders. Earlier, the story reshare was allowed only if the original story poster had mentioned you or tagged you in his/her story. But now, even without the mention or tag, you can repost these stories.
This new story reshare feature is currently applicable only to public accounts. Stories posted by private accounts cannot be reshared by others.

How Will I Reshare the Story?
Instagram Story Reshare Feature brings a new button to the story viewing section. Whenever you see a story of any public account, you will find an ‘Add to your story’ option, and you will be able to reshare this story from your account as well.
More New Updates On Insta
Apart from the story reshare feature, there have been more new updates brought to Insta. A new “Friends” tab is added inside Reels, where you can browse content your friends like, comment on, or repost. Similarly, a Snap-Map-style location-sharing feature via DMs and can control who sees when you’re active or where you are.
