With a new update to come soon on WhatsApp, it’s expected to come with new feature users have been waiting for. This update shows a feature ‘Linked Devices’ in the new WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.20.196.8.
Right now, in WhatsApp, we have an option “WhatsApp Web” which asks you to disconnect the linked device from the primary device if logging in via a new device.

The new feature is being linked to multiple devices support that the Facebook-owned company is allegedly working for quite some time. It will allow users to use the same WhatsApp account to as many four devices. Apparently, users can also add new devices by clicking on the ‘Link A New Device’ option.
Moreover, it will allow users to log-in the same WhatsApp account to multiple devices at the same time without disconnecting it from the primary one.
Along with this update, it will also include a new update “Advanced Search Mode” spotted on WhatsApp 2.20.117 Android beta changelog.
This particular feature will allow users to search for a specific message within the WhatsApp app.
