Both phones have a unique appearance, like the Edge 70, featuring its traditional design with silicone polymer (eco leather) back. Nord 6 cones with a triangular triple-lens array, housed in a square module with a plastic back. Both models share some common features in the design segment, such as a plastic frame, dual-SIM support, and MIL-STD-810H durability compliance. 

At the same time, the Moto Edge 70 Pro comes with an IP68/IP69 rating for dust-tight and water-resistant, while the Nord 6 comes with a slightly improved IP68/IP69K rating for dust-tight and water-resistant. 

Motorola Edge 70 Pro weighs 183 grams with a slim 7.2mm body, while the Nord 6 weighs 210 grams with an 8.5mm-thick body due to its 9000mAh battery. Just a few weeks ago, I reviewed the OnePlus Nord 6 and found that its back leaves fingerprint residue; no one can deny that silicone polymer (eco leather) tends to collect dust over time. 

Both phones come with the same 6.78-inch AMOLED display. But the OnePlus Nord 6 has the edge with a 165Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, while the Edge 70 Pro comes with a 144Hz refresh rate and only HDR support. On the other hand, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro offers 5200 nits of peak brightness, while the Nord 6 offers 3600 nits.

The camera section, where the Motorola Edge 70 Pro dominates over the OnePlus Nord 6. The Motorola Edge 70 Pro comes with a triple rear camera featuring 50MP wide, 50MP telephoto, and 50MP ultrawide sensors, delivering amazing camera results across global markets.

Indian variants of the Edge 70 Pro lack the telephoto lens. So, in the Indian market, both phones deliver similar camera results, with the Nord 6 featuring a 50MP wide-angle and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. 

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro features a better front camera with a 50MP sensor, while the Nord 6 has a 32MP front camera. I even clicked a lot of selfies with the Nord 6, and I found that the phone takes decent selfies. 

The battery section where the OnePlus Nord 6 have clear edge with a 9000mAh battery capacity along with 80W fast charging support. During the review, I spent almost 25 hours on YouTube and 14-15 hours gaming on a single charge. Therefore, it has a 6,500mAh battery capacity with 90W wired and 15W wireless charging support. On a single charge, it can offer almost 7.5 hours of screen time on moderate use.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro vs OnePlus Nord 6: Performance And Software

OnePlus Nord 6 is one of the best performers with Qualcomm SM8735 Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4 nm). I played a lot of BGMI and other games smoothly with no lag or heating issues. I even played BGMI for 4 hours straight and never experienced any frame drops.

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro is a powerful smartphone that performs well for its price. It has a strong MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Xtreme processor. It scores about 2.1 million on the AnTuTu test, indicating it performs very well in demanding tasks and fast-paced games. You can also get it with up to 12GB of fast RAM to help with multitasking.

Both phones come with UFS 4.1 storage, allowing multiple apps to run in the background smoothly. It will also effectively save battery life. 

Moving on to software, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro comes with Hello UI, based on Android 16, offering a clean, near-stock Android experience with heavy customisation and integrated Moto AI features. The UI focuses on personalisation, smart connect, gesture controls, and AI-driven camera tools. If you like a clean and simple UI, then the Motorola UI is best. 

The OnePlus Nord 6 runs OxygenOS 16, based on Android 16. It provides a simple, fast user interface that you can easily customise. Some important features include smooth animations, helpful AI tools such as AI Eraser and Portrait Glow, and many options for personalising the lock screen and icons.
