Several well-known actors are there in the teasers as part of this project. The following is a list of each gang’s members:

    • The Professor by Yoo Ji-Tae
    • Berlin by Park Hae-soo
    • Tokyo by Jun Jong-Seo
    • Moscow by Won Jong Lee
    • Denver by Kim Ji-Hun
    • Nairobi by Jang Yoon-Ju
    • Rio by Park Jung-Woo
    • Helsinki by Kim Ji-Hun
    • Oslo by Lee Kyu-Ho

According to actress Jun Jong-seo in a conversation with Dazed Korea, each character would have their personality, even if they share the same name.

While it has the same name, it’s an entirely different individual. The primary protagonists are the bank robbers, but there are inevitabilities in it that include humanity. Task force operators Cha Moohyuk by Kim Yunjin) and Seon Woojin are there in the official posters, according to Kim Yunjin by Kim Sung-O). Joint Economic Area heist: Korea — the headline says it all. The setting for the adaption is Korea on the verge of unification. Together, the two Koreas create the Unified Korea Mint and a United Security Area intending to create a stable joint currency. As a consequence, income disparity has grown, contrary to assumptions that “only the affluent became wealthier”.

A former soldier from the North, Tokyo, joins the Professor in a daring theft attempt. Seon Woojin, a South Korean negotiator, and Cha Moohyu, a North Korean spy, are leading a unified task team to confront them. But unfortunately, there are no longer any Salvador Dali masks; instead, there are Hahoe masks.

The trailer certainly brings back memories of the Spanish version’s iconic sequences. However, for the first time, the whole cast, including Park Hae-soo, who rose to popularity with Squid Game, is seen in the character.

What do we know so far?

Because the Korean version is a fresh rendition of the well-loved Netflix original, it will follow the same format as the original. Thus, a team of criminals commanded by the Professor will attempt a high-tech theft while remaining undetected. In any case, the show’s formal title refers to the socioeconomic strife between the two Koreas.

The term “Joint Economic Area” refers to a newly formed (and fictitious) area in which the northern and southern hemispheres are physically separated. As shown in the second teaser, the freshly united Korean government are establishing a new economy in this Joint Economic Area, which includes the creation of a new currency.

What we’ve seen so far suggests that our brave gang of thieves intends to pull off another bank robbery, this time using the newly-minted money of the newly-unified Korea. In addition to being an intriguing retelling of the classic tale, this new series’ setting in a more fantastical universe opens the door to introducing contemporary storylines and characters.

How Many Episodes are to be there?

    Episodes in Money Heist_ Korea

In the first season, there will be 12 episodes, each lasting around an hour and a half. The number of episodes in the first two seasons of the Spanish series before Netflix renewed it for the final three seasons is identical to this. So two six-episode halves will make up the season.

On Netflix, you can catch up on all five seasons of Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area. In addition, two films that go behind the scenes of the show’s popularity are also available for viewing on the streaming service.

Is Lex Pia a part of the Korean remake?

Lex Pia in money heist Korean remake

In Money Heist, many of the previously unimaginable happenings are thanks to lex Pia, the showrunner of the Spanish series. Despite being a member of the original series’ creative team, Pia will take on the executive producer job for the Korean version.

An independent team, B.H. Entertainment and Content Zium are responsible for creating the film rather than Vancouver Media. Director Kim Hong-sun is renowned for K-dramas such as The Guest and L.U.C.A. The Beginning will lead the new cast and crew. Ryu Yong-Jae, the show’s screenwriter, is in charge of crafting the story and devising the grandiose robbery that would serve as the show’s centrepiece.
