Infinix Zero 8i Price in India

Infinix has priced the Zero 8i at ₹14,999 for the single 8GB+128GB variant that is available here in India. The smartphone comes in Silver Diamond and Black Diamond colour options and will be available to buy from Flipkart.

The Infinix Zero 8i has a metallic frame which is sandwiched between the back and the front glass. On the back of the device, we have a quad-camera setup arranged in the shape of a diamond with a dual-LED flash with the Infinix branding on the bottom half of the device. On the front, we have the 6.85-inch screen with a hole punch cutout for the dual front camera to reside in. On the right side of the device, we have the power button which also works as the fingerprint scanner and the volume buttons. On the bottom of the device, we have the USB Type-C port, the loudspeaker and the headphone jack.

The Infinix Zero 8i comes in Silver Diamond and Black Diamond colour options. The device weighs in at almost 210g and is at 9.1m of thickness.

Infinix Zero 8i is equipped with a 6.85-inch FHD+ 1080 by 2460 pixel IPS LCD panel. The screen to body ratio is at 86.8% on this device. The pixel density is rated at 392ppi and the aspect ratio is at 21:9. Also, there is a hole punch cutout on the left corner of the device for the dual front cameras to sit in.

Talking about the display, there is 90Hz of refresh rate with 180Hz of polling rate. This ensures a smooth viewing experience on the Zero 8i.

Under the hood, the Infinix Zero 8i is powered by the Mediatek Helio G90T gaming processor. It is an octa-core processor which is built on the 12nm process with maximum clock speeds of up to 2.05GHz. There is 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage with provision to expand via the dedicated microSD card slot while the memory is handled by 8GB of RAM. This combination of specs ensures the performance is maximum and there are minimum load times of the apps.

The Infinix Zero 8i is running on the Android 10 with Infinix’s own XOS 7 layered on top of it.

Infinix Zero 8i boasts a quad-camera setup on the rear and a single front camera on the front. The quad-camera setup consists of a 16MP (wide) main sensor with PDAF, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 4th unknown camera unit. The video output from this camera is rated at 4k at 30fps. There is a dual-LED flash for lighting up the scene and features like HDR and panorama for making the most out of a shot.

The front camera is a dual-camera unit comprised of 16MP wide and 8MP ultrawide sensors with AI smart beautification built-in. The video output via this sensor is also rated at 4k at 30fps.

Infinix Zero 8i has a big 4500mAh Li-Po battery which is powering all of the internals. There is 33W of fast charge support on this device which ensures we get back up with minimum charging times.

Infinix may be looking at having a bigger market share in the budget segment with the release of the Infinix Zero 8i. Infinix has managed to put together such great specs in such a cheap device with a storage and memory offering like no one in this price segment which makes a compelling argument of picking the Infinix Zero 8i over other smartphones in the same price point. This is a great value for money smartphone with a blend of good build quality, edgy and unique design and great specs. With the launch of the Zero 8i, Infinix may actually be looking at a winner.
