Infinix GT 50 Pro India Launch Timeline
The Infinix GT 50 Pro launches in India on 27 October 2026. Infinix first teased the phone with a “Game Together” campaign that asked fans to unlock the date. Now the date is official. The phone will sell on Flipkart, and Infinix will also launch a new gaming controller at the same event.
The phone is not new to the world. It debuted in select global markets in April 2026, with Indonesia getting it first. India now gets the model that replaces the Infinix GT 30 Pro, which launched in June 2025.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Display And Design
The Infinix GT 50 Pro launch date specs start with a big 6.78-inch flat AMOLED screen. It has 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 4,500 nits, and Gorilla Glass 7i protects the panel. Touch sampling goes up to 330Hz in Game Mode, and touch reporting reaches 2,800Hz. The refresh rate and brightness match the GT 30 Pro, so the screen is not a big upgrade.
The design is the real talking point. The back has a transparent window that shows the liquid cooling pipeline. Infinix calls this the Explicit Viewport Design. Light strips run along the sides. The phone measures 162.44 x 77.23 x 8.15 mm and weighs 198g. That makes it a little thicker and heavier than the GT 30 Pro. It also carries an IP64 rating for dust and splash protection. India gets two colours: Black Abyss and Red Blaze.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Performance And Cooling
The Infinix GT 50 Pro launch date specs include the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultimate chip. It uses a 4nm process and replaces the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate in the GT 30 Pro. Infinix pairs it with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. The brand claims gaming at up to 144fps in supported titles. Real frame rates will depend on the game and its settings. This is not a flagship Snapdragon chip, but it should deliver solid gaming performance.
HydroFlow Liquid Cooling
Heat slows down gaming phones, so Infinix upgraded the cooling. The new HydroFlow system uses a 7,700 sq mm 3D vapour chamber, a micro-pump and two piezoelectric ceramic plates. It moves liquid at up to 6.5ml per minute. The GT 30 Pro used a six-layer vapour chamber. Independent tests will show how much the new system helps during long sessions.
Infinix is also expected to bundle the GT MagCharge Cooler 2.0 in the India box. This magnetic cooler supports wireless bypass charging. Confirm the final box contents at launch.
GT Triggers And N1 Network Chip
The GT Triggers are pressure-sensitive. They offer 10 pressure levels and four input modes: light press, hard press, left swipe and right swipe. This gives you more ways to map controls in games like BGMI.
The phone also gets a dedicated Infinix N1 network chip. Infinix claims it gives 60% stronger signals, and a 360-degree antenna system backs it up. That could help with online gaming and game streaming.

Infinix GT 50 Pro Camera
The Infinix GT 50 Pro launch date specs show a mixed camera story. The rear has a 50MP main sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 lens. An 8MP ultrawide camera with an f/2.2 lens sits beside it. The front camera is a 13MP shooter with an f/2.2 lens.
The main sensor drops from 108MP on the GT 30 Pro to 50MP. Fewer megapixels do not always mean worse photos. Processing and low-light results matter more. Wait for reviews before you judge the cameras.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Battery And Charging
The Infinix GT 50 Pro launch date specs bring a bigger 6,500mAh battery. That is 1,000mAh more than the 5,500mAh cell in the GT 30 Pro, or about 18% extra capacity. Charging speeds stay the same at 45W wired and 30W wireless. The phone also supports reverse charging.
Bypass charging is a handy extra. It sends power straight to the motherboard instead of the battery. This keeps heat down during long gaming sessions and may help battery life over time.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Software And Updates
The Infinix GT 50 Pro runs XOS 16, which is based on Android 16. Infinix promises three major OS updates, up to Android 19, plus five years of security patches. Confirm that the same promise applies to the India model at launch. XOS 16 also adds gaming tools such as Hardcore Esports Mode, AI Smart Trigger and the Folax AI assistant.
Infinix GT 50 Pro Price In India (Expected)
The Infinix GT 50 Pro launch date specs are clear, but the price is not. Infinix has not announced it. Reports disagree, so treat every figure below as unofficial. Here are the clues:
- GT 30 Pro launch price: Rs 24,999 for 8GB + 256GB and Rs 26,999 for 12GB + 256GB.
- Indonesia launch: about Rs 35,000 for 12GB + 256GB and about Rs 40,000 for 12GB + 512GB, after conversion.
- Estimate range: Rs 30,000 to Rs 35,000, based on past GT pricing.
- Upper estimate: below Rs 45,000.
- Outlier leak: about Rs 65,000.
The last number looks high, but the offers hint at something. The no-cost EMI of Rs 3,611 per month for 18 months adds up to roughly Rs 65,000. That may reflect a list price before launch discounts. The final selling price could land lower after bank offers.
The price will decide whether this phone is a good buy. At Rs 35,000 to Rs 40,000, the GT 50 Pro faces rivals like the POCO X8 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE 6. Those phones offer strong processors and fast displays. The Infinix answers with liquid cooling, GT Triggers and a magnetic cooler. A price near Rs 45,000 would make it hard to recommend over those rivals.

Verdict: Should You Wait For The Infinix GT 50 Pro?
The Infinix GT 50 Pro looks promising for gamers, thanks to its powerful processor, improved liquid cooling, larger battery, and pressure-sensitive GT Triggers. However, the display remains unchanged, and the main camera drops from 108MP to 50MP. If priced around Rs 35,000, it could offer good value. At Rs 45,000 or more, compare it with the POCO X8 Pro and OnePlus Nord CE 6. Check independent reviews before making a final decision.
