Huawei’s sub-brand Honor held an online launch event on May 20 where it launched Honor X10 5G. The device gets its 5G capability on-board along with upper mid-range specifications while staying as affordable as possible. The phone is available in three storage configurations to choose from.

Talking about the specifications, Honor X10 5G sports a 6.63-inch FHD+ LCD panel boasting 397 PPI with 1080×2400 pixels resolution and 90Hz of refresh rate. Further, the phone’s display takes over 92% of the area thanks to its vivid screen-to-body ratio. Next upm there’s a Kirin 820 octa-core SoC on-board along with Mali-G57 GPU that takes care of the graphics processing.
The phone boasts an LPDDR4X RAM at up to 8GB while the storage is maxed at 128GB. The storage can be further expanded to over 256GB using Huawei’s proprietary NM card. Moving ahead, we have a triple camera at the back which includes a 40MP RYYB sensor with f/1.8 lens alongside an 8MP ultrawide sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 while the third sensor is a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, we have a 16MP camera with an aperture of f/2.2 housed in a motorized pop-up mechanism that pops up when needed and pops down when not.
Next part, we have a 4,300 mAh battery under the hood joined together by a 22.5W fast charging solution to go with. There’s a 3.5mm headphone jack so you wouldn’t feel betrayed if you have an earphone or headphone with a 3.5mm headphone jack. Finally, the phone is 5G supported and takes care of 5G bands such as n41, n78, n1, n77, n79, n84, n80, and n38 with a download speed of up to 1003Mbps. Plus, there’s a Super Unplink 5G technology on-board that takes the cell edge network and uplink rate by 412%.

The phone arrives in three configurations i.e. 6GB+64GB at CNY1,899; the 6+128GB variant is up for sale at CNY 2,199 while the maxed out 8+128GB variant goes on sale at CNY 2,399 in China.
