‘Bigg Boss’ is believed to be one of the biggest Indian TV shows out there. Now, the popular TV show is all set to make a comeback. However, there is a catch, as the new season of the TV show will firstly air as an OTT exclusive. Later on, the show will make its way to TV channels. So, Big Boss OTT will actually be a digital-first release, which is a great opportunity being bagged at the right time by Endemol and Viacom 18.
The show will be a VOOT Select exclusive and will be hosted by Bollywood filmmaker, Karan Johar. Johar is very famous in the Bollywood industry, having directed multiple movies. Moreover, he is also the creator of the popular Indian talk show, ‘Koffee with Karan’. Also, he has revealed that he is a massive fan of the popular Indian TV show, which makes him a great choice for a host.

Big Boss fans are super excited to see which contestants will appear in the OTT version of the popular TV show. Moreover, unlike the previous season, Big Boss OTT will air only for six weeks on VOOT Select.
Bigg Boss OTT: When Will It Premiere?
The opening episode of Big Boss OTT is all set to premiere on this Sunday, which is August 8th. Moreover, the show will air on VOOT Select at 8 pm. Furthermore, VOOT Select users will be able to view the all-new episodes of the TV show on the platform from Monday to Saturday at 7 pm.
Bigg Boss OTT will have its very own grand finale. Moreover, the selected contestants will now move on to Big Boss 15. Salman Khan will be hosting Season 15 of the show and it will air on Colors TV channel in the last week of September.
Bigg Boss OTT: Where To Watch The Premiere?
In order to watch Big Boss OTT, fans have to get their hands on VOOT subscriptions. The popular Indian TV show has been limited as a VOOT Select exclusive this time. This is understandable for the primary aim of the show is to cater to the growing digital audience in the country.

VOOT Select members shall be able to watch the show on the platform from Monday to Friday at 7pm. Moreover, on weekends, the show will be aired at 8pm on VOOT. Additionally, VOOT members will also be have access to live streaming on the platform, for 24 hours a day and seven days a week. Besides, members of the platform can either stream Big Boss OTT episodes on their phone or choose to watch the show on their desktop.
Big Boss OTT Contestants
Firstly, Neha Bhasin was confirmed as a participant for the upcoming Big Boss OTT. Now, the producers of the show have released teasers for the next contestants. These contestants include Karan Nath, who is a Bollywood actor. Nath has starred in films like Yeh Dil Aashiqanaa and Paagalpan.
Next up, comes Zeeshan Khan, who is a star in the hit show, Kumkum Bhagya. Divya Agarwal, winner of Ace of Space 1 has also been confirmed as a contestant. Additionally, other TV actors like Ridhima Pandit and Rakesh Bapat have also been confirmed as contestants for Big Boss OTT. Furthermore, MTV star, Pratik Sehajpal and Urfi Javed, who has starred in Puncch Beat 2 are also confirmed contestants in the show.

Manasvi Vashist, who is a popular TV star, was also supposed to be joining the show. However, his participation has been put on hold at the last minute, according to the actor’s management. Instead, we will see Nishant Bhat, a popular choreographer, take his position in the show. Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh and singer Milind Gaba are joining the show as contestants as well at the last minute.
