Redmi Note 11T 5G price in India
Redmi Note 11T 5G pricing in India has been announced at Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM/64GB storage option. A 6GB + 128GB variant is available for Rs. 17,999, while an 8GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 19,999. You can pre-order the Redmi Note 11T 5G beginning December 7th in Aquamarine Blue and Matte Black colours via Amazon, Mi.com, Mi Home, and select retail outlets.
Offers for Redmi Note 11T 5G’s launch include 1,000 Rs. discount for new customers. Purchases made with an ICICI Bank credit card or via an EMI are also eligible for the Rs 1,000 immediate discount.
Design
The Redmi Note 11T sports an EVOL design that is identical to that of the Redmi Note 10 series, with a few minor variations. There is a rectangular rear camera bump that holds two cameras on the back of the phone. A punch-hole display is located in the centre of the display. The rear panel appears shiny, however, there is a plastic build and on the front, the Redmi Note 11T 5G features Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Although the device is on the heavier side, the in-hand feel is still commendable with the matte finish on the rear. An IR blaster is also included to enable you to manage your home’s appliances. For biometric authentication, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Display
The Redmi Note 11T 5G has a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD display with a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate. Because of this, battery consumption may be kept to a minimum by adjusting the refresh rate to one of three possible values: 50 Hz, 60 Hz, or 90 Hz. Redmi has previously used LCD displays on its phones, but this time around, the company didn’t use the same panel.
Performance
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, which is 5G ready. There were rumours that Xiaomi might switch to a Snapdragon processor before the launch, but they have opted to go with the same architecture as its Chinese rival.
The phone has three memory and storage options: 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB. This phone has LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. In addition, the phone has a virtual RAM upgrade that can provide up to 3GB of extra RAM when needed. We were hoping for 256GB internal storage on the top-end model, even if there is a microSD card slot for additional storage space.
Miui 12.5 comes preloaded on the phone, which is likely to get the Android 12-based MIUI 13 in the future.
Camera
The Redmi Note 11T 5G features just two cameras, which is an unexpected decision by Xiaomi. In addition to a 50MP main sensor, there is an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor. In this market, it is common practice to include an additional pair of cameras just for the purpose of increasing the phone’s marketability. Nevertheless, the two 2MP sensors for depth and monochrome images have been permanently removed from the camera. With a hole-punch design on the front, a 16-megapixel selfie camera can be accessed.
Battery
With a 5,000mAh battery and compatibility for 33W fast charging, it is touted to be capable of charging the phone to 100% capacity in 60 minutes or under. You can expect a two days battery backup in the Redmi Note 11T 5G. For connecting the charger, there is a Type-C charging port available in the device.
Verdict
This is an excellent phone, although some customers may be disappointed by Redmi’s compromises in Redmi Note 11T 5G. The screen is LCD, the cameras are average, and the pricing is more than normal for a smartphone. As a whole, the Redmi Note 11T is a decent smartphone that should have been much better.
