Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 Price in India
Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip3 is available in two storage capacities. Starting at $999.99 (roughly Rs 74,400), it is available in the United States. Phantom Black, Green, Lavender, and Cream are the four colours available. As of now, Samsung offers two storage options for the foldable phone, which are 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
Galaxy Z Flip3 Design
Galaxy Z Flip3 keeps the folding design of its predecessors, which isn’t all that unexpected. A new camera housing and a smaller foldable display have allowed Samsung to update its design. As with its predecessor, the new Z Flip sports a black stripe running across its vertical dual-camera system and its bigger cover display.
In-display camera technology is not yet available for mass production, therefore the foldable display includes an Infinity-O cutout. Slimmer bezels around the screen. Corning’s newest protective glass, Gorilla Glass Victus, covers the Galaxy Z Flip’s screen. The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is water- and dust-resistant to IPX8 standards.
The Z Flip 3 has a more matte appearance than the original version, which had a glossy, mirror-like appearance. The Z Flip 3 will be available in a variety of vibrant colours such as cream, green, lavender, and phantom black. A grey, white, and pink hue will also be offered only online.
Galaxy Z Flip3 Display
There’s a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity Flex inside display on the Galaxy Z Flip3. With a 120Hz refresh rate, the screen’s performance will be noticeably improved while you’re switching between displays and playing even the simplest of mobile games. Despite the same pixel density, it’s a little better screen than the Galaxy Z Flip.
There was also an upgrade to the phone’s external display (what you see when you close the phone). A 1.9-inch Super AMOLED Display replaces the previous 1.1-inch screen with 260×512 resolution and 302 pixels-per-inch (PPI). Since the screen size is so small, the text and graphics in the alerts will be sharp and clear, as will selfies.
Galaxy Z Flip3 Processor
Galaxy Z Flip 3 has several modest performance improvements over its predecessor, including the Snapdragon 888 chipset. Kryo 680 Prime (ARM Cortex-X1) high-performance core clocks in at 2.84GHz, while Kryo 680 Gold (Cortex-A78) and Kryo 680 Silver (Cortex-A55) efficiency cores run at 1.8GHz.
The package comes with an Adreno 660 GPU. With 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, there is no microSD expansion option. While earlier reports suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 3 will come with Android 11, the foldable is really arriving with One UI 3.1.1.
Galaxy Z Flip3 Camera
There’s no way to ignore the Galaxy Z Flip3’s cameras. 10-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and 80-degree field of vision, with an f/2.4 aperture. Quick Shot allows you to take a selfie without having to open the phone.
A 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 123-degree field of view, as well as the primary 12-megapixel wide-angle camera with dual-pixel autofocus, OIS, an aperture of f/1.8, and a 78-degree field of view, plus up to 10x digital zoom, are available on the back of the phone for all other photos and videos taken with the device.
Galaxy Z Flip3 Battery
The battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Flip3 is unchanged from the prior model at 3,300 mAh. The Flip’s battery life wasn’t all that amazing, so this is a reason for worry. The Galaxy S21‘s 3,300 mAh battery is smaller than other Samsung phones, including the Galaxy S21 with 4,000 mAh. Wired charging on the Galaxy Z Flip3 has a maximum output of 15W, which is a disappointment. Wireless charging for the Galaxy Z Flip3 is capped at 10W, which is significantly slower.
Galaxy Z Flip3 First Impressions
Priced at $999 for the base model, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 is considered an “affordable” foldable phone featuring a 120Hz refresh rate 6.7-inch FHD+ inner display. However, the Flip 3’s 3,300 mAh battery has us concerned about its endurance.
