Coronavirus outbreak hasn’t intervened in smartphone manufacturers’ routine of updating their portfolio. One of the most active brands, Realme, is expected to announce the next X-series device, expected to be called the Realme X3 SuperZoom.

The device got into the picture via a tipster Sudhanshu Ambore (@Sudhanshu1414), who spotted a device with model number RMX2086, which is supposedly the Realme X3 SuperZoom. The device was listed both on Geekbench and has been certified by the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) of Thailand.

Unfortunately, this NBTC listing doesn’t reveal any specifications and neither mentions any 5G support as we could only get hints of support for GSM, WCDMA, and LTE Network. As the name suggests, it can be said that the Realme X3 SuperZoom is supposed to be the advanced version of the Realme X3 on which the company is working on.

The Geekbench listing also reveals that the device comes with Android 10 OS which we assume will probably be going to be skinned with Realme UI. The powertrain of the device can be expected to boast last year’s powerful Snapdragon 855+ (listed as ‘msmnile’) and this might sit along with 12GB of RAM and Android 10 out-of-the-box. Talking about benchmark scores, the single-core score of the device that stood on the Geekbench platform is 792, whereas the multi-core score is 2507. The GeekBench also shows that the phone’s processor frequency is 1.78GHz, which confirms the presence of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset.

The X3 SuperZoom seems to be a camera-centric smartphone. But it will also be a significant upgrade over the Realme X2 as Realme X2 is equipped with a much less powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor, whereas the X3 SuperZoom gets the mighty Snapdragon 855+. Apart from this, we are unaware of the rest of the tech specs at this point, but we’ll hopefully get more info in the coming days.
