Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO, which later emerged as an independent smartphone manufacturer has managed to gain a strong position in the market which just two smartphones in its portfolio, the POCO F1 and the POCO X2. At the time of the POCO X2 launch, when everyone was expecting the successor to the POCO F2, the company surprised everyone and launched the new POCO X-series. Since then, there were rumours that a successor to the popular POCO F1 would be unveiled soon.
And now, in an online-only event, POCO has launched the POCO F2 Pro and it starts at €499. It’s quite strange that POCO introduced the Pro variant without launching the regular, much awaited POCO F2.

POCO F2 Pro Specifications
The newest POCO device features a 6.67” FHD+ AMOLED display with a pop-up selfie camera. This gives an impressive 92.7% screen-to-body ratio. With HDR10+ certification, the panel also supports Wide vine L1 certification and a 180Hz Touch Sampling rate.
With Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on front and back, the back gets curved edges. Interestingly, we also get an IR blaster, NFC support and luckily, a 3.55mm headphone jack. Neon Blue, Phantom White, Electric Purple and Cyber Grey are the available colour choices.
The POCO F2 Pro features the latest and most powerful Snapdragon 865 chipset which is paired with 6/8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. As a focus on improving heat dissipation, the POCO F2 Pro also flaunts LiquidCool Technology 2.0. It runs on the latest version of Android 10 along with POCO launcher 2.0 on top.

POCO F2 Pro camera gets a quad camera setup at the back containing a Sony IMX686 64MP main camera, a 13MP wide angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor along with a 5MP tele macro camera. At the front is a 20MP selfie pop-up camera.
POCO F2 Pro battery includes a massive 4700mAh battery which promises up to 24 hours of talk time, 6 hours of video playback and 18 days of standby time. The device also supports 30W fast charging which would allow you to juice the device to 100 percent in just 63 minutes.

The POCO F2 launch price starts at €499 for the 6GB+128GB variant whereas the 8GB+256GB variant is priced at €599.
