The Oppo F11 is the toned down variant of the beautiful Oppo F11 Pro. Priced at Rs. 17,990, the phone comes with some changes, like losing the pop-up camera set-up, but overall, it remains a beautiful set to acquire.

The Oppo F11 keeps up with its capable performance as well as pairing it with a powerful battery. The cameras of the phone are incredibly well-engineered as well, thereby delivering an all-round performance – as expected for a mid-range Oppo phone.

About the Mobile Phone

The lower variant of Oppo F11 Pro is quite a capable one in its way. It has a few pros and cons:

Pros

  • The phone has a beautiful punchy design to give you an all-round immersive experience.
  • The MediaTek Helio P70 processor, which powers the phone, has all the ability to keep the speed running without a problem.
  • The phone arrives with a potent battery that can keep it active for more than a day of moderate use.
  • The cameras of Oppo F11 are decent enough and produce high-quality photos while handling the noise well.
  • The selfie camera is impressive with the ability to edit facial features.

Cons

  • The Oppo F11 design attracts a lot of fingerprints.
  • The phone has a redundant design.
  • The Face Unlock does not work well in low-light settings.
  • The video stabilization of the phone does not work correctly.

The Oppo F11 is a beautiful phone, and one of the advantages that it has over the Pro model is that it comes at a lower price but still delivers a similar performance. It is your go-to phone if you are attracted to the Oppo F11 but do not want to shell out more bucks.

The OPPO F11 looks quite similar to the F11 Pro. One of the most significant deviations is the lack of a pop-up camera. The selfie camera on this set comes in the notch. The phone has a glossy polycarbonate back with a metallic frame. It is quite attractive to look at. The left side of the phone holds the volume rocker button while the right side is the power button alone. The buttons are tactile. The bottom of the phone consists of the 3.5mm headphone jack and a micro-USB port. Coming at this age, the F11 could have had the USB Type-C port to make it more up to date. The fingerprint scanner of the phone is placed at the top-middle part of the rear panel. The symmetry of the phone is quite brilliant. While the phone is quite premium to touch, it does tend to be a fingerprint magnet.

The Oppo F11 comes with a 6.53-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The phone has a large screen which has slim bezels, giving the user a lot of screen space to work with. The brightness of the phone is quite adequate, and even if you are outdoors in the middle of bright sunlight, you will be able to get immense visual experience. The F11 gives quite a good glare even with an 80% brightness. The viewing angles are impressive too. Plus, the audio quality is ok, but the bass is not up to the mark.

The F11 arrives with a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and a Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The performance is mostly smooth, and it is quite responsive. You can do basic tasks like social media browsing, video streaming, and file transfer without a problem. The fingerprint scanner is also quite fast. Face Unlock might falter in low-light however. It gets a decent 5,976 score on Geekbench, which is brilliant. It can also handle games without any stuttering. There is a game optimization app called Game Space. It allows Asphalt 9 to run reasonably well, though it may heat the device.

The OPPO F11 comes with two cameras on its rear panel – a 48MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture and a 5MP secondary shooter used for depth sensing. The AI as an ultra night mode which helps in low-light shots. Due to this mode, low-light shots turn out to be quite decent. The images carry a lot of sharpness, but there is a bit of noise. Daylight shots take away that noise and therefore, you get beautiful shots with high quality and decent exposure too.

The phone comes with a 16MP front camera. There is an AI beauty mode, which can help you edit facial features. In proper lighting, the portrait mode turns out to be quite decent. Even the details around the hair come out well. The phone can record up to 1080p videos at 30fps. There is no stabilization, so you need to keep a tripod nearby. It cannot record 4K videos.

The Oppo F11 comes with a 4,020mAh battery which is about 20mAh more than the F11 Pro; this is a significant difference. It got about 11 hours and 6 minutes in PC Mark battery test. The phone got about 21 hours and 42 minutes in a video look test with 1080p video running at 50% brightness and sound, along with Airplane mode and earphone on. The phone can easily stay alive for an entire day. Plus, it comes with VOOC fast charging technology, which makes it reach from 0 to 100% charge within 2 hours.

The OPPO F11 is almost identical to Oppo F11 Pro, but it comes with some changes. It has an excellent display for viewing experience and a good quality camera, especially to click low-light shots. The battery life is admirable and comes as a better alternative to Oppo F11 Pro. Unless you want the pop-up camera of F11 Pro, this is a great phone to give you a premium effect at a low price. However, it does not record 4K videos, which is a disappointment.
