Landing down our excitement to get the first look to the OnePlus 8 series, the company finally launched the OnePlus 8 series along with OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z, a new pair of wireless earphones.
OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z
Priced at $49.95 (around Rs. 3,800) and available in four colourways namely Oat (white), Mint (green), Black, and Blue; the OnePlus Bullet wireless Z are typical OnePlus-style wireless earphones with a decent upgrade in the internals.
We do get the same magnetic controls to switch the earbuds on/off and a similar USB Type-C port for charging accompanied with a three-button combination including the mic remote on the neckband. Weighing just 28 grams, we get a 9.2mm dynamic driver with super bass tone instead of the triple driver setup seen on its predecessor.

Yes, the Bullet Wireless Z doesn’t seem to be a major upgrade over the previous Bullet earphones from the company, but there are some minor tweaks to make the experience better. The earbuds can deliver 10-hours of music playback with just 10 minutes of charge, thanks to Warp Charge technology.

Last year’s Bullet Wireless 2 didn’t have any IP rating, but the Bullet Wireless Z now has one. The Bullet Wireless Z also has Bluetooth 5.0 for seamless connectivity. OnePlus has also tried to minimise the latency, through a low-latency mode; specifically, for gamers. Some reports also claim that the latency is even less than the Apple Airpods. The total battery life also gets a boost, as the earbuds can now deliver 20 hours on a single charge, which is quite impressive

The OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z with its earphones and neckband is a seemingly affordable choice for the budget enthusiasts out there. With the USB Type-C port, IP55 rating, decent audio quality, a Quick Switch used for piring two gadgets, good looks, an incredible battery life and fast charging features, this one definitely stands out. Other than the fact that it does not support the aptX Bluetooth codec, lack of multi-device connectivity, has only a single driver setup on earbuds which is an essential downgrade from the previous model and comes with a magnetic power switch which is in dire need of improvement, buying this is a chance you can willingly undertake if you are inclining towards a good product within the budget.
