Xiaomi has officially launched its new flagship smartphones, the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Xiaomi 18 Pro Max, in China. The new phones arrive as some of the first devices powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series chipsets. The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max launch brings a huge 8,500mAh battery, dual 200MP Leica cameras and a new high-brightness display.
The flagship series also introduces Xiaomi’s latest HyperOS 4 software and hardware-level privacy features. Xiaomi has confirmed that the phones will also reach global markets later this year.

The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max launch shows two smartphones that share several flagship features, while the Pro Max gets the more powerful chipset and larger battery.

Both models feature a 200-megapixel main camera with a large 1/1.28 inch sensor and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 1/1.56 inch sensor. The telephoto lens offers a 75mm focal length, f/2.4 aperture and 3.2x optical zoom. It can also focus from as close as 12cm for macro shots.
Xiaomi 18 Pro Max Price And Availability
The Xiaomi 18 Pro Max has launched in China with several storage options and five color choices: Black, White, Ice Peach Pink, Starry Blue and Red Transparent. The 12GB + 256GB variant starts at ¥6,999 (around ₹1,00,100), while the 12GB + 512GB model costs ¥7,999 (approximately Rs 1,14,400). The 16GB + 512GB version is priced at ¥8,999 (about Rs 1,28,700), and the 16GB + 1TB variant costs ¥9,999 (around Rs 1,43,000). The top-end 16GB + 1TB satellite version is available for ¥10,999, which converts to roughly Rs 1,57,300. The phone is currently available in China, while details about its availability and pricing in India remain unconfirmed.
The company has confirmed that the Xiaomi 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max launch will happen globally later this year. However, Xiaomi has not announced the international launch date or India pricing yet.
