WhatsApp is testing a new noise cancellation feature for voice and video calls. This update helps users in noisy places. The feature removes background sounds so the other person hears your voice clearly. It is currently available to some beta users on Android.
How WhatsApp Noise Cancellation Works?

The new feature uses real-time processing to reduce unwanted noise like traffic, wind, or café chatter. It keeps only the speaker’s voice. When turned on, it cleans the outgoing audio from your side. For the best experience, both people on the call should enable the feature.
To use it, open the call menu during an active call. You will see a new toggle for noise cancellation. Turn it on to start filtering background sounds. If the voice sounds unnatural, you can turn it off easily. The feature will soon be enabled by default for supported users.

Availability And Rollout Plans
WhatsApp is testing Noise Cancellation feature in beta version 2.26.14.1 for Android. It is available to a limited number of beta testers right now. A wider rollout to more beta users will happen in the coming weeks. The stable version for all users is expected a few months later.
This update makes calls much clearer in noisy environments. Users no longer need to move to a quiet spot or raise their voice. WhatsApp continues to improve its calling experience with useful new features.
