  • Vivo X80 series expects to arrive in China within weeks. The global rollout expects to begin shortly. The two Vivo X80 handsets have allegedly been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certifications site, implying that their launch in India is also getting closer.     Vivo series expects to arrive in China within weeks. The global rollout expects to begin shortly. Both the handsets have allegedly been spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certifications site, implying that their launch in India is also getting closer. The X80 and X80 Pro+ could be equipped with the new MediaTek Dimensity 9000 SoC and a Mali G70 GPU.

    The handset expects to have a triple rear camera setup highlighted by a 50-megapixel Samsung GN5 sensor in terms of optics. At the back, there could be 13-megapixel and 12-megapixel secondary sensors. It could have a 44-megapixel selfie camera on the front.

    The handset is expected to include a few gaming-related features, such as an X-axis linear motor for tactile feedback. In addition, the phone is to have a 4,000mm square chamber for improved heat dissipation.

    Vivo X80 specifications (Expected)

    Vivo X80 Pro+

    Previous reports have hinted at some of the Vivo X80’s key specifications. As previously stated, it is thought to be powered by a Dimensity 9000 SoC paired with a Mali G70 GPU. At launch, there could be 8GB RAM and 12GB RAM variants. The smartphone could have a 6.78-inch Samsung E5 AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It expects to come with 256GB of UFS 3.1 onboard storage.

    Vivo X Fold Specifications Appear on TENAA

    The Vivo X Fold has also been listed on TENAA. It will be the company’s first foldable phone, and it is expected to compete with Xiaomi and Samsung foldable in China.

    According to the TENAA listing, it has a 6.53-inch screen. It is said to be 162.011144.876.28 in size and to pack a dual-cell 2255mAh battery, i.e. 4.500mAh battery. The dimensions mentioned could be when the item is unfolded.

    According to rumours, the foldable phone will have an 8-inch main QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset and will most likely run the Android 12 operating system out of the box.

    According to the allegedly leaked live image, it will have a design similar to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G. It will fold in the middle and have a smaller display on the outside.
