Vivo is reportedly preparing to launch its new S70 series smartphone in China, and fresh leaks have revealed several important details about its hardware and camera capabilities. The upcoming Vivo S70 could feature a Snapdragon 8-series processor, a 1.5K OLED display and an upgraded periscope telephoto camera. One of its biggest highlights could be support for an optional 200mm teleconverter, which may improve long-distance photography.
According to the leaks, the Vivo S70 will bring several camera improvements over its predecessor, the Vivo S60. However, Vivo has not officially confirmed the specifications or launch details yet. So, here is what we know so far.
Vivo S70 Specs: Display, Processor And Camera Details

The latest leak suggests that Vivo will equip the S70 with a 6.59-inch flat LTPS OLED display. It could retain the same screen size and resolution as the previous generation while offering a faster processor.

Here are the expected Vivo S70 specifications:
- Display: 6.59-inch flat LTPS OLED panel with 1.5K resolution.
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset.
- Front Camera: 50-megapixel selfie camera.
- Main Camera: 50-megapixel primary sensor with a large sensor size.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 would offer an upgrade over the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor used in the Vivo S60. The camera setup also looks promising, particularly the 64MP periscope sensor, which could capture more detailed zoomed images.
Vivo S70 May Introduce 200mm Teleconverter Support
Another interesting highlight is the reported 200mm teleconverter support. Vivo has previously offered similar camera accessories with selected X series smartphones.
If the leak proves accurate, the Vivo S70 could become the first smartphone in the S series to support an external telephoto extender. However, the accessory will likely require a separate purchase.
Vivo has not revealed the phone's battery capacity, pricing or official launch date. Earlier reports suggest a possible November 2026 launch in China. More details should emerge as the launch approaches.
