Tecno has confirmed the launch of its next clamshell foldable phone, the Tecno Phantom V Flip. The device recently appeared on the Google Play console website, giving us a glimpse of the phone’s specifications. The company has now announced a launch event in Singapore later this month to unveil the folding phone.
Tecno Phantom V Flip Launch Date Announced
The Tecno has confirmed the launch of the Phantom V Flip on September 22 at an event in Singapore. It has sent out invites for the “Flip In Style” event scheduled to begin at 3 PM SGT. According to a statement by Tecno, the Phantom V Flip reflects their “commitment to exploring new form factors and redefining the style and functionality of flip phones for passionate, fashionable, and forward-looking audiences.” Furthermore, the company will also release the MegaBook T1 2023 laptop with a 14-inch laptop at the event.

Tecno Phantom V Flip Expected Specifications
Previous leaks indicate the phone will sport a 1.32-inch AMOLED display on the cover screen with a resolution of 466×466 pixels. Inside, you will find a 6.9-inch AMOLED panel with a Full-HD+ resolution with a 144Hz refresh rate.

The clamshell phone could feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1300 processor paired with 8GB of RAM. It will run on Android 13 and ship with 256GB of internal storage. For optics, there is a dual camera setup on the back with a 64-megapixel primary lens. A 13-megapixel ultrawide lens and a 32-megapixel selfie camera back this.
The Phantom V Flip will pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi, 5G and a USB-Type C port. The case for the phone has been listed on a website showcasing the phone’s design.
