Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Processors Launch Confirmed: Qualcomm Announces Snapdragon Summit 2026 Dates 

Qualcomm has announced that its ninth annual Snapdragon Summit will be held from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Maui, Hawaii. The event is expected to showcase the next-generation Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 processors, reportedly built on a 2nm process for improved performance and power efficiency. 

Industry reports suggest Qualcomm may unveil both standard and Pro variants, with support for LPDDR5X and LPDDR6 memory, respectively, along with UFS 5.0 storage. 

Leaks also point to a redesigned Oryon CPU architecture and upgraded Adreno GPUs. Flagship smartphones from Xiaomi, iQOO and HONOR are expected to be among the first devices powered by the new chipset. Qualcomm is also expected to share further updates on its AI and premium computing roadmap during the three-day event.
