Internally, the device may run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, the same high-end chip featured in the Galaxy S25 series. It will reportedly be paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, allowing the phone to smoothly handle multitasking, gaming, and AI-driven features.

However, one feature that might be noticeably absent is an under-display camera (UDC). Instead, the phone is likely to use a punch-hole camera, possibly with a 12-megapixel sensor. This aligns with rumors suggesting that Samsung is stepping back from UDC technology due to its limitations, a shift also hinted at in leaks related to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7.

The device is expected to feature a battery with a capacity of approximately 4,400 mAh.

    Expected Launch Timeline And Pricing

There’s speculation that the Samsung tri-fold phone could make a short appearance at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9 in New York, alongside the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. A full launch is expected in October, initially in select markets such as China and South Korea.

With a rumored price of around $2,800, the Galaxy tri-fold will be a major player in the ultra-premium foldable market.
