Samsung has started releasing a new software update for the Galaxy S24 series. The company is strengthening the security of its flagship phones with the latest November 2025 patch. The rollout has begun in South Korea and will reach more countries in the coming days. The update focuses only on improving system security and stability.
New Galaxy S24 Update Begins Rolling Out
Samsung is pushing the fresh update to all Galaxy S24 models, including the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24+, Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and Samsung Galaxy S24 FE.
The update comes with a firmware version ending in CYK2 and has a size of around 300MB.
While the file size is small, it packs important improvements. Samsung confirms that the Galaxy S24 Update contains the November 2025 security patch, which fixes nearly three dozen security issues found in Android and Samsung software.
Some of these vulnerabilities affect phones running on Exynos processors, including the Exynos 2400 used in the Galaxy S24 and S24+ in several markets.

What The Galaxy S24 Update Brings
Although the Galaxy S24 Update does not add new features, it plays a crucial role in keeping devices safe and stable.

- Fixes around 36 security vulnerabilities.
- Addresses issues found in Android OS and Samsung apps.
- Patches security flaws related to Exynos chipsets, including Exynos 2400.
System Enhancements
- Improves device stability.
- Enhances system reliability under One UI 8 (Android 16).
- Prepares the device for future software builds.
Samsung has already started working on One UI 8.5, which the Galaxy S24 series is expected to receive in the first half of 2026. This next Update will bring new features and more performance upgrades.
