Samsung might launch its new smartwatch Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Pro in its next Galaxy Unpacked event in July 2024. The company is expected to unveil the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with smartwatch during this event. For now, we have some details of the smartwatch, which is spotted on India’s BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards).

Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Pro Expected Specs
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 Pro details leaked after being seen on the BIS website. But It’s not a smartwatch, it’s a battery with model number EB-705ABY. So, the same model number is associated with the Galaxy Watch 7 Pro’s battery. This suggests that the smartwatch is in development and will be launched in India. It is expected to be powered by a 578mAh battery. But previous reports suggest it could be touted as a 600mAh battery.

A Samsung portable product with model number SM-L305U was discovered in the Bluetooth SIG database. This is a 40mm version of the Watch 7 with LTE connectivity for the US market. According to the certification document, the Galaxy Watch 7 is equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 with LE, the same Bluetooth version used in its predecessor. The wearable will be equipped with the latest version, Wear OS 5, which is likely to launch later this year.

Samsung also advises increasing the storage capacity of the Galaxy Watch 7 to 32 GB. New Samsung smartwatches are likely to include the Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, Galaxy Watch 7 Pro, and a “new” version. The new smartwatch comes in Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + eSIM versions.
