Samsung has finally launched its Galaxy S23 FE smartphone in India, offering flagship specifications at a mid-range price. The company also unveiled the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series and the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE at the event. The S23 FE will go on sale from October 5 on Amazon and Samsung India website.
Samsung Galaxy S23 FE Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE sports a 6.4-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x panel with support for an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The phone’s design uses recycled materials, including aluminium, glass and post-consumer recycled plastic.

It features the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor or the Exynos 2200 chipset, depending on the region, with India likely to get the Exynos variant. The phone runs on One UI 5.1 based on Android 13 with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Samsung promises four years of OS updates and five years of security patches for the device.
The camera is a significant upgrade, as the S23 FE sports a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support. Furthermore, there is a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto with 3x optical zoom. In addition, you will find a 10-megapixel front-facing camera for taking selfies.

It packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 25W wired charging and wireless charging. The phone also has an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and you can get a Samsung Care+ membership for accidental damage. The phone has 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE has launched in India for a price of Rs.59,999 for the 8GB RAM+128GB storage variant. Another variant with 8GB RAM and 256 GB of storage retails for Rs.64,999. Samsung also offers a Rs.10,000 benefit, including bank cashback and an upgrade bonus. This brings the effective price down to Rs.49,999 and Rs.54,999, respectively. Samsung is also offering 24 months of No-Cost EMI options for prospective buyers.

The phone will go on sale on Samsung India and Amazon websites in three colours: Mint, Graphite and Purple. It will be available starting October 5, with early deliveries beginning October 7. Samsung Galaxy S9 FE Series Specifications
The Galaxy Tab S9 FE series has two models: Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE+. The Tab S9 FE sports a 10.9-inch display, whereas the S9 FE+ has a 12.4-inch screen. Both have 90Hz IPS LCD Full-HD+ panels with support for Samsung Vision Booster for better visibility in sunlight.

Furthermore, these tablets come with dual speakers by AKG with Dolby Atmos support and an IP68 rating. These tablets also support S Pen Stylus, which is also IP68 rated. The Exynos 1380 chipset powers these tablets paired with 6GB or 8GB of RAM on the S9 FE and 8GB or 12GB of RAM on the S9 FE+.
Both devices have 128GB or 256GB of internal storage with support for expandable storage up to 1TB via micro-SD card. They come with a 12-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Furthermore, the S9 FE+ also has an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens on the back.

Samsung Galaxy Buds FE Specifications
Samsung also introduced the new Galaxy Buds FE, the company’s most affordable wireless earbuds. It features support for Active Noise Cancellation ANC thanks to its three microphones. The earbuds have a wingtip design for a comfortable fit, and there are different size ear tips and two sizes of wingtips included in the box.

The earbuds support AAC and SBC codecs, and Samsung claims a new Deep Neural Network (DNN) can remove background noise from calls. These Bluetooth 5.2 earbuds also have support for auto-switching between paired devices and touch controls.

The buds can last up to 8.5 hours on a single charge and 30 hours, including the case. If you turn on the ANC, you will get 6 hours of music playback and a total of 21 hours with the case.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE series starts at Rs.36,999, while the S9 FE+ begins at Rs.46,999. It is also offering bank cashback and upgrade bonuses, resulting in an effective price of Rs.32,999 and Rs.41,999.
Both tablets will be available on Amazon, Flipkart and Samsung India websites from October 7.
