Realme seems to be working towards launching their GT Neo 2 soon. The Realme GT Neo 2 has now been spotted across multiple certification websites. The smartphone will launch as a successor to the previously launched Realme GT Neo. To recall, the GT Neo launched in China on March 31, 2021. However, we did not get to see the Realme GT Neo in India. This time though, things may be different.
Noted tipster Mukul Sharma has taken to Twitter to reveal that the smartphone has made an appearance on the TENAA certification website. In addition, he also posted a tweet which reveals that the smartphone has been spotted on the Indian BIS certification site as well. The smartphone is listed with the model number RMX3370. Now, this is why we can actually expect to see the device launch in India. Meanwhile, the TENAA certification reveals the key specifications of the Realme GT Neo 2.

Further, Sharma also reports that the smartphone’s camera specifications have been tipped. From the looks of it, we can expect to see 15.9-megapixel sensor and a 4-megapixel sensor. However, the placement of the sensors has not been revealed yet. Moreover, the 15.9-megapixel sensor will come with an aperture of f/1.8 and EIS support. Besides, the design renders of the device have also recently gone official, courtesy of Digit.in. Now, let us take a look at what the certification websites reveal about the upcoming device.
Realme GT Neo 2 Specifications (Leaked)
According to the TENAA listing of the handset, the device will come with a 6.62-inch FHD+ AMOLED display. So, yes, this will be another premium mid-ranger in the GT series of smartphones. For now, the processor details of the device are currently under wraps. However, TENAA reveals the clockspeed of the chipset to be set at 3.18GHz. Going by the recent renders, this chipset is expected to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC.

Further, this octa-core chipset will pair up with three RAM and storage options. TENAA reveals these options to be a 6GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB variants. Going by this, we can expect to see the successor of the Realme GT Neo price to be set in the slightly expensive side of things.
On the battery front, the Realme GT Neo 2 has been listed to pack a 2465mAh (dual cell) battery. Going by the fact that it is a dual-cell battery, we will be seeing a total capacity of 4,930mAh. When it comes to software, the handset will run on Android 11 OS. The smartphone will measure 162.9mm×75.8mm×8.6mm and measure 199.8 grams. Lastly, the device will be available in the Mirror Black, Dream Blue and Super Orange colour options.
