Sony has officially announced its first PlayStation Black Friday Sale 2026, bringing discounts of up to 75% on thousands of games for PlayStation platforms. The sale will begin at midnight on November 4 through PlayStation Direct and continue until November 30, 2026. This year, Sony is extending its Black Friday offers beyond the traditional sale week, giving gamers more time to grab discounted titles.
However, there is one important detail. Sony's initial announcement focuses mainly on games, expansions and downloadable content (DLC). It has not confirmed any discounts on PS5 consoles, DualSense controllers or PlayStation VR2 hardware yet.

Sony has not revealed the individual discounted prices of these games yet. However, the maximum discount could reach 75% on selected titles.
Interestingly, some offers will end on November 20 and new discounts will replace them. This suggests that Sony could introduce another wave of deals during the sale.
Will PS5 Consoles And Accessories Get Black Friday Discounts?
Unlike previous years, Sony has not mentioned any special offers on PS5 consoles, accessories or PlayStation Plus memberships in its initial announcement.
For comparison, Sony offered a $100 (Rs 9477) discount on PS5 consoles during its 2025 Black Friday sale. It also reduced DualSense controller prices by $20 (Rs 1895) and offered $100 off the PSVR2 headset.
There is still a possibility of hardware discounts arriving in the second wave around November 20. Retailers such as Amazon and Best Buy may also introduce their own offers.
Meanwhile, Sony is offering refurbished PS5 bundles with $40 (Rs 3790) discounts. The Digital Edition starts at $518 (Rs 49,091), while the disc-drive version costs $568 (Rs 53,830).
