Vivo and iQOO have started preparing their smartphones for the latest Android 17-based software experience. The new OriginOS 7 roundup covers everything users need to know about the upcoming update, including its release timeline, eligible smartphones and major features. The new software focuses on improved customisation, smoother animations, better multitasking and AI-powered productivity tools.
OriginOS 7 was first unveiled in China on September 16, 2026, followed by its global launch on September 22. Vivo and iQOO have also announced rollout schedules for their smartphones, with the first batch expected to receive the stable update by the end of October.
