OnePlus 9RT launched in China on October 13, 2021. Many expected the smartphone would launch in India in November 2021. However, the launch did not happen and there is no confirmation from the company as of now. But previous reports have suggested that the OnePlus 9RT may launch as a OnePlus RT in India. Meanwhile, other reports have suggested that the phone is going to launch next month.
Now, corroborating these reports is a new leak from tipster Max Jambor. The tipster claims that the OnePlus 9RT India launch will take place on December 16, 2021. The leak follows a previous report by tipster Ishan Agarwal and 91Mobiles, which revealed the OnePlus RT December launch timeline.

OnePlus RT: What to Expect?
The OnePlus 9RT India variant is likely have the exact specifications on the Chinese variant. It will pack a Snapdragon 888 SoC under the hood. The device comes along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It packs a 4,500 mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

Optics-wise, the setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the device sports a 16-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls. To recall, the OnePlus 9RT specs include a 6.62-inch OLED panel. In addition, the device also comes with a fast 120Hz refresh rate panel. We also get to see a peak brightness of 1300 nits alongside a 600Hz touch sampling rate and an HDR10+ certification. We can expect to see the RT feature with the same specs.
