Apple’s forthcoming iPhone 15 Pro Max is to bring substantial enhancements in terms of build quality and hardware improvements. However, these upgrades might come at a cost, with a noticeable price hike in iPhone 15 Pro Max. The key alteration lies in the shift from stainless steel to titanium for the external chassis, a change expected to raise the device’s price tag.

iPhone 15 Pro Max: Price & Storage
Despite the anticipation of significant alterations, one aspect that will remain the same is the base storage configuration. The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are to continue offering 128GB of storage, a familiar starting point for users.
According to reports from TrendForce, renowned for its insights, the iPhone 15 Pro may maintain its price at $999 (approximately Rs. 83,100). However, the larger iPhone 15 Pro Max is projected to undergo a 9 percent price hike. Starting at $1,199 (approximately Rs. 99,700). This would translate to a $100 (approximately Rs. 8,300) jump compared to the iPhone 14 Pro Max.
RAM Gets a Boost Contrary to earlier speculations about expanded storage capacities ranging from 256GB to 2TB, TrendForce suggests that both the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will continue to offer storage options up to 1TB, in line with their predecessors. However, there are rumours that an increase in RAM from 6GB to 8GB, potentially enhancing performance.

Apple’s Upcoming ‘Wonderlust’ Event
What to Expect Apple has already set the date for its upcoming launch event, titled ‘Wonderlust,’ scheduled for September 12. This event is expected to unveil the iPhone 15 series, new Apple Watch models, and an updated version of the AirPods Pro. Notably, this year’s iPhones might feature USB Type-C ports for the first time. It will possibly support Thunderbolt/USB 4 for faster charging at up to 35W. Expect the iPhone 15 Pro models to showcase the A17 Bionic chipset and a programmable Action button.
