HONOR is making it easier for people who use both an iPhone and an HONOR device to stay updated. The company has started rolling out iPhone notification sharing to more phones and tablets running MagicOS 10.
HONOR Adds iPhone Notification Sync To MagicOS 10
HONOR first introduced iPhone notification sharing in the November MagicOS 10 update. The update also brought features like Face Unlock for the Dynamic Capsule and video lock screen wallpapers. Now the brand is expanding support to more models.
According to HONOR’s MagicOS product lead, the feature already works on several recent HONOR devices. These include:
- HONOR Magic V5, Magic V3, Magic Vs3 series
- HONOR Magic 8, Magic 7, Magic 6, Magic 5 series
- HONOR 500, HONOR 400, HONOR 300 series
- HONOR GT and HONOR GT Pro
- HONOR MagicPad 3
HONOR has also confirmed that more devices will get the feature in future system updates.
How iPhone Notification Sharing Works?
The new feature lets users see iPhone notifications on their HONOR device. After pairing, system alerts and app notifications from the iPhone appear on the HONOR phone or tablet. This helps users who carry both devices stay updated without checking each screen again and again.
Key requirements and details:
- HONOR device must run MagicOS 10 or later
- iPhone must run iOS 15.6 or later
- Users must install the HONOR Connect app on the iPhone
- The app generates a QR code for pairing
- Users scan the code using Smart Connectivity on the HONOR device
- After pairing, users can choose which notifications to sync
Early feedback says alerts arrive on time and the feature does not change how notifications behave on either device. HONOR also says it will improve the feature based on user input and add more cross-device tools in the future to make MagicOS work better with other platforms.
