The launch of a new low-cost 5G smartphone in India has been confirmed by Realme. Later this month, the company will introduce the Realme 9i 5G. On August 18, the Realme 9i 5G will debut in India. After the Realme 9i, which was introduced earlier this year in India, this is the second smartphone in the 9i series.
Realme has disclosed a few important features about the impending low-cost 5G smartphone in India ahead of its official debut. The “laser light” design of the 9i 5G will be present. The forthcoming smartphone’s specifications have also been revealed by Realme.
India Launch of Realme 9i 5G
Another affordable 5G smartphone from the company is the Realme 9i 5G. It is known that the phone has a MediaTek CPU. Furthermore, a MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC will power the smartphone. According to Realme, the 6nm chipset achieved a score of over 3,50,000 on AnTuTu. On the official event website, the appearance of the phone was also unveiled.
Realme plans to offer the phone in a wider range of colours. Instead of a camera island on the back, the phone’s three cutouts stick out from the top of the back panel. On the event homepage, Realme did not mention the phone’s camera specifications. It is likely that the phone will include a 48-megapixel or 50-megapixel primary camera sensor.
Further evidence that the phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner can be seen in a teaser on the website. It is safe to presume that the 9i 5G will have an LCD screen. A 5,000 mAh battery is also probably included in the gadget, much as previous Realme smartphones in the comparable pricing bracket.
Soon, more information about the phone will be made public. On August 18, at 11.30 a.m., the company will conduct a virtual event for the debut of 9i 5G India. In India, the cost of this smartphone is likely to be less than Rs 15,000.
