Google has finally officially introduced their Pixel 6 series of smartphones via a promotional video. The company took to their YouTube handle named Made By Google to post the promotional video for the upcoming series. Further, the promo also reveals the in-hand look of the upcoming Google Pixel 6 for the second time. The first time was when Marques Brownlee received in-hand time with the series smartphone. The upcoming series will launch as a successor to the Google Pixel 5 series of devices.

Moreover, the upcoming Pixel 6 series of smartphones have been in the leaks for a long time now. The series will include the vanilla Pixel 6, the Google Pixel 6 XL and the Google Pixel 6 Pro. Now, the new promo video actually shows the lineup in flesh for the very first time. The trailer reveals that the lineup is due for release in Fall of 2021.

Firstly, the add starts off with the new Android 12 volume slider. The ad asks the viewers, “What if your phone saw you for who you are.” Further, we can see different people handling the smartphone through different segments of the 30 second promotional video. In addition, the video also includes a small clip for the upcoming series using Tensor chips.

Furthermore, Google took to their official Instagram handle to hint at the launch date of their upcoming series. Going by this post, when looked closely, the clock face of the smartphones reveal the date as Tuesday, 19. As per leaks and reports, the series could go up for pre-ordering from October 19, 2021.

Coming to the Google Pixel 6 specs, the vanilla model will come with a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. In addition, the display on the smartphone will feature a fast 90Hz refresh rate. Moreover, the display will also be a curved one with a punch-hole design.

On the other hand, the Pro variant will come with a larger 6.7-inch display. This will be a QHD+ AMOLED curved display with a faster 120Hz refresh rate. Further, both the smartphones will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a similar notch design.

Moving to the optics, the vanilla model will come with a dual rear camera setup. On the other hand, the high-end Pro model will come with a triple rear camera setup. In addition, Google has also announced a couple of things about the sort of sensors we can expect to see in the series. The company has unveiled that the Pro model will come with an extra 4X telephoto sensor which will allow it to stand out in the series. According to leaks and reports, the smartphones will come with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN1 sensor in the setup.
