Google has officially confirmed that the Google Pixel 9A will go on sale in India starting April 16. Alongside this, the company has also revealed launch dates for other global markets. Meanwhile, Google is already setting its sights on its next flagship — the Pixel 10 series. The recent leaks of the upcoming Google Pixel 10, Google Pixel 10 Pro, and Google Pixel 10 Pro XL have already made their way online. Now, exclusive details about the camera specifications for the Pixel 10 lineup have been shared by Android Authority.

The company is already in the process of designing the Google Pixel 10 series. And, as per the leaks we know that the major upgrade will be seen in the camera department.

The Pixel 10 base model will receive a significant upgrade, marking the first time it will include a telephoto lens. According to the latest leak, Google Pixel 10 will come equipped with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN8 main camera, a 13-megapixel Sony IMX712 ultra-wide lens, and an 11-megapixel Samsung 3J1 telephoto camera. On the front, users will find an 11-megapixel Samsung 3J1 selfie shooter.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pro XL are expected to retain the same camera setup as last year. Both models will sport a 50-megapixel Samsung GNV main sensor , accompanied by a 48-megapixel Sony IMX858 ultra-wide lens and a 48-megapixel Sony IMX858 telephoto camera. On the front, users can expect a 48-megapixel Sony IMX858 selfie camera.
Furthermore, the upcoming Pixel 10 Pro Fold will feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel Samsung GN8 main sensor, a 13-megapixel Samsung 3J1 ultra-wide lens, and a 12-megapixel Samsung 3J1 telephoto camera. On the front, it’s said to include dual 11-megapixel Samsung 3K1 selfie cameras.
Other Features And Launch Timeline
The upcoming Pixel 10 series is rumored to be powered by Google’s next-gen Tensor G5 chipset, built on TSMC’s 3nm process. It’s expected to feature a two-core PowerVR IMG DXT-48-1536 GPU, along with 16GB of RAM. Google is also reportedly testing a MediaTek T900 modem for the chip. While camera details haven’t been revealed yet, 4K 60fps HDR video recording could be on the cards, thanks to the capabilities of the new SoC.
Last year, the Pixel 9 lineup launched earlier than usual in August, ahead of Google’s traditional fall schedule. With Android 16 anticipated to roll out as early as June 2025, the Pixel 10 series might follow a similar early launch timeline.
