The most-awaited BGMI 3.6 update was recently launched on January 16, 2025. There was a lot of excitement and expectations from this update. The iQOO Neo 9 Pro supports this update and also 120 FPS. It comes with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. This implies that if this smartphone can support 120 FPS, then other phones with a more powerful chipset can surely run the BGMI 3.6 update. But, Samsung Galaxy S23 also contains the same chipset but BGMI 3.6 update does not bring the 120 FPS support in it. Moreover, OnePlus 12 comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and still the 3.6 update does not come with 120 FPS. The insider hints that deep testing foe 120 FPS is going on for these devices and more such devices.
But, users of these phones will be able to use the BGMI 3.6 update with patch updates. So, let’s wait till BGMI sends an official news on it.
Comparison With Previous Update
The previous BGMI update, i.e. 3.5 was very successful and also catered to a lot of problems, except for the mic glitch. But, with BGMI 3.6 update you will not find the mic glitch. However, players have found delays right from the starting of the game, whether you are playing on Wi-Fi network or mobile data. There is no official statement by the company yet on this issue.
