Amazfit Active And Active Edge Smartwatches Launched

Amazfit has announced two new smartwatches in the Active series, offering two different designs. The Amazfit Active and Amazfit Active Edge have launched with circular and square designs, respectively. The Active offers a stylish casing with stainless steel, while the Active Edge has a rugged design for outdoor adventures.

Amazfit Active Specifications And Price

The Amazfit Active has a 1.75-inch square AMOLED display with a resolution of 390×450 pixels. Moreover, the screen has a pixel density of 341PPI and has an anti-fingerprint coating.

The watch has an aluminium alloy or stainless steel casing, depending on the colour variant. It is available with silicone and vegan leather strap options. The Bluetooth 5.2 BLE watch can track over 127 sports modes and supports voice calling.

You also get Zepp Coach for training, who can offer personalized workout plans and exercise sessions. The Active offers accurate locate tracking with its five satellite positioning system support.

Furthermore, you also get Amazon Alexa and voice assistant that works offline on the watch. The feature pack Zepp OS offers plenty of third-party apps and mini-games to download with its 250MB music storage.

Thanks to the 300mAh battery, the company claims it can last up to 14 days of normal usage and 16 hours with continuous GPS tracking. It weighs 24 grams without th strap and 27 grams for the Lavender Purple colour.

It is available in Midnight Black, Petal Pink and Lavender Purple colours for a price of $149.99. The Amazfit Active is currently available in the US, with availability expected in more regions soon.

Amazfit Active Edge Specifications And Price

The Amazfit Active Edge sports a 1.32-inch circular TFT LCD panel with a resolution of 360×360 pixels. The watch is made of dual-tone plastic and has four buttons on the side for controlling it. Furthermore, the Active Edge has 10 ATM water resistance and support for more than 130 sports modes.

It has the same Biotracker PPG biometric sensor and support for five satellite positioning systems. The Bluetooth 5.0 BLE watch runs on ZeppOS 2.0 and comes with Zepp Coach for personalised training.

The Active Edge packs a 370mAh battery that can last up to 24 days on battery saver mode and 16 days on typical usage. Furthermore, the watch can last up to 10 days on heavy usage and 24 hours with continuous GPS use. It weighs 34 grams without the strap and is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.

It is available in Lava Black, Midnight Pulse and Mint Green colours for a price of $139.99. The Active Edge is currently on sale in the USA and will soon be available in other regions.
