Samsung has expanded its mid-range Galaxy A series by launching two new phones &#8211; A34 5G and A54 5G. Today we will review the latter, Samsung Galaxy A54 5G. The phone boats premium looks at a mid-range price.
Apart from looks, you get a potent chipset for everyday performance paired with a 120HZ AMOLED display for a fantastic content consumption experience. The A54 5G packs a big 5000mAh battery to give a two-day battery backup.

Samsung Galaxy A54 gives out a premium smartphone vibe at the first glance. It looks very similar to the flagship Samsung Galaxy S23 from the back panel. You get a glass back with a matte finish which provides a good in-hand feel.

The curved edges also offer a firm grip in the hands. The camera lenses at the back look exactly the same as seen on the S23. I have the violet colour option with me which looks very good. The phone is also available in two other colour options: Graphite and Lime.

Overall, Samsung Galaxy A54 looks like a premium flagship smartphone and anyone can tell that. The right side of the phone has a power button and volume rockers. The top side only has the SIM card slot. Lastly, the bottom has the type-C port and primary speaker.

Samsung Galaxy A54 features a triple camera setup on the back which includes a 50MP main camera. The other two lenses include a 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro camera. Front side has a 32MP selfie camera housed inside the punch-hole cut-out.

The main camera takes some impressive shots in the daylight conditions. The images captured were clear and packed with details. The colours looked vibrant and the dynamic range was wide. The portrait shots were also good with on-point edge detection.

Low-light pictures were fine. Details were there but the images has noise. The dedicated night mode helped to boost the overall images. Ultra-wide shots were decent. The detail level was good but only until you didn’t zoom in to the images.
The 32MP front camera takes superb selfies. Selfies I took were sharp and clear. The skin tones looked natural to me and the overall details were good.

Samsung Galaxy A54 packs a big 5000mAh battery which offers a solid battery backup. By saying solid, I mean a two-day battery life on casual usage. I got more than 6 hours of screen on time.

Even if you are a heavy user, you will still get a full day of usage from it. While the battery life is good, the charging speed is not. It supports only 25W fast charging which is not really fast. It takes less than 2 hours to fully charge the phone if you have the 25W adaptor.
Why I&#8217;m saying ‘if’ is because Samsung does not provide a charger in the box, which is again a disappointment.

Samsung Galaxy A54 comes with an FHD+ 6.4 inches Super AMOLED display and it&#8217;s fantastic. I assure you that you will have no complaints about the display of the A54. It’s vibrant, clear, and delivers an amazing viewing experience.

It has a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Not only it feels smooth during everyday use, but the touch response of the display is also good. Scrolling through Instagram reels feels like butter.

It gets pretty bright outdoors. I did not face any issues while using the phone under direct sunlight. The icons and texts appear sharp and clear. I even watched some videos on YouTube and my viewing experience was really good.

The thin bezels on all sides help to enhance the overall experience. It comes with Widevine L1 support and HDR playback support (for YouTube).

Samsung Galaxy A54 is powered by the Samsung Exynos 1380 chipset which is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. If we talk about performance, the phone glides through everyday tasks. Apps opened up swiftly and switching between apps was seamless.

It can even handle intensive use like gaming and photo/video editing. In order to test the performance, I played a bunch of heavy games on it, including Ashalpt 9 and Apex Legends Mobile.
Both the games ran flawlessly on medium to high settings. I played for about half an hour, and the phone was a bit warm on the backside which is normal.

Samsung Galaxy A54 5G runs on One UI 5.1, which is based on Android 13. It’s really good to see that Samsung has launched the phone running on the latest Android version out-of-the-box. The whole UI feels easy and simple to navigate.

Vivo V27 excels in the design department. You get a really premium looking phone with a glass back which comes with a matte finish. The curved frames look shiny and make the phone look really sleek with just 2.3 mm thickness.

The backside has a big camera island which houses three lenses and a ring LED light. Yep, it&#8217;s a flash LED in ring shape which looks awesome. All this enhances the overall look of the phone. But what’s more impressive is the colour-changing back. It’s not new. We have seen this before as well. But it never gets old. Still manages to impress me the same way it did earlier.

The in-hand feel of the Vivo V27 is really good as well. Thanks to the lightweight build and smooth finish, weighing just about 180 grams. It’s a tall phone, so you might need to hold it with two hands if you want to tap around the top.
Overall, it really looks like an expensive phone and not a mid-range phone. The right side has the power button and volume rockers. The bottom has the SIM card slot, type-C port and loudspeaker.

The main camera takes stunning photos in almost any lighting conditions. The daylight shots were rich in details and colours. The dynamic range was wide and the images looked punchy.

Low-light shots were also good. There’s a dedicated night mode which preserves the colours and a bit more details. Ultra-wide shots were good. The details were not as good as main camera. There was a colour shift as well; the ultra-wide shots looked cooler, while the shots with main camera were warmer.
The 50MP selfie camera takes fantastic selfies. I took some selfies and they were sharp, crisp and packed with details. The skin tones also looked natural.

Vivo V27 packs a 4600 mAh battery which comes with 66W fast charging support. The phone offers a decent battery backup. I could easily get a full day of battery backup from it and even some juice left for the next day.
If you are a heavy user, you will need to plug in the charger by the evening. I got about 6 hours of screen on time which is good for this battery size. While a 5000mAh battery would have been better, the Vivo V27 does a good job in the battery department.

The 66W fast charger takes about 45 minutes to fully charge the phone from 0 to 100 per cent. A quick charge of 15 minutes takes the battery level to around 50 per cent.

Vivo V27 features an FHD+ curved 6.78 inches AMOLED display. It comes with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. The display gets pretty bright and I did not face any issues while using it outdoors.

The colours look really punchy and vibrant. Content on the screen looks sharp. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and my viewing experience was really good. The curved display and slim bezels offer an immersive viewing experience.

Vivo V27 is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset which is paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The phone runs flawlessly in everyday use. The scrolling experience, swiping the stories and reels on Instagram was buttery smooth.

Thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate, everything felt seamless. It can handle the usual apps like WhatsApp as well as the heavy apps like Instagram and Snapchat with ease. I did not encounter any lags or shutters while using the phone.
You can even go full-on gaming on the Vivo V27. I tried playing Asphalt 9 and Apex Legends Mobile on it, and both the games ran really well. Asphalt could run at High settings and Apex Legends could run at Original graphic settings.

Vivo V27 runs on FunTouch OS 13 which is based on the Andriod 13. It&#8217;s good to see that it comes running on the latest Android version out-of-the-box. The UI feels simple and easy to navigate.

The first look of the Lava Yuva 2 Pro screams out the iPhone design. The back panel, the camera unit and the lenses housed inside, all of it give a vibe of the iPhone Pro model. Lava has managed to offer a glass back at a very affordable price.

I have to say that the phone looks and feels like a costly phone. The flat frame comes with a metallic finish which further enhances the grip and overall look. I have the white colour variant with me which looks really premium. It’s also available in lavender and green colour options.

While the back has a premium look, the front doesn’t look as enticing. You see a water-drop niche with a thick bezel at the bottom, which is to be expected to be fair. Overall, Lava has done a great job in the design department and the phone punches way above its price tag.

Lava Yuva 2 Pro features a triple camera setup on the back. This includes a 13MP main camera and two other VGA lenses. The front side has a 5MP camera for taking selfies. It’s a budget phone so I did not expect much from the cameras.

The main camera takes decent photos in daylight conditions. The colours looked fine and the images were detailed as long as you don’t zoom in. Portrait shots were also acceptable in good lighting conditions.

Low-light shots were just not usable. The details were gone and there was a lot of noise in the images. You get multiple modes like HDR, Beauty, Night, AI, Portrait, Pro, and more.

Outdoor selfies were nice and looked good. But indoor selfies were very soft and lacked sharpness. You can record 1080p videos from both back and front cameras.

Lava Yuva 2 Pro comes with a big 5000mAh battery which delivers a solid battery life. This is due to an HD resolution display and less power-consuming chip. I got above 6 hours of screen on time with casual use.
Lava Yuva 2 Pro can easily provide a battery backup of two days. Even a heavy user who scrolls through Insta and does casual gaming can use it for more than a day. You also get a battery saver mode that will further extend the battery life.

The only drawback is that it supports only 10W charging, which is acceptable at this price, but it takes too long to charge the phone. And by saying long, I mean more than three hours! So you better plug it in at night before you sleep.

Lava Yuva 2 Pro features a 6.5 inches IPS LCD display. It’s a standard 60Hz display with good brightness. I could easily see the contents on the screen indoors while there was a bit of struggle under direct sunlight.

The display quality is decent for causal content consumption. I watched some videos on YouTube and the colours looked nice. Well, we can’t expect an AMOLED panel at this range. But one thing that I expected was an FHD resolution, but we only got an HD display.

Due to this, the contents do not appear very sharp on the screen. But if you like a big display, Lava Yuva 2 Pro is a good option at budget. You can choose between light and dark modes.

Everyday usage was fine and I did not face any major issues. Yes, there were lags and jitters while using apps like Instagram and navigating through the UI, but nothing significant. I could use WhatsApp, make calls and take pictures with no problem.
Considering the price tag, you can tell that it&#8217;s not made for gaming. But still, you can play light games on it like Ashalpt Nitro, Subway Surfers and Candy Crush. I played Asphalt Nitro for about half an hour and my experience was fine. It’s not the smoothest gameplay but acceptable for the price.

It has a glass back with a matte finish which looks and feels great in the hands. The curved frames also match the same matte finish and are rounded around the edges. Even though it makes the phone look a bit thick, it&#8217;s pretty balanced, weighing about 199 grams.

While the back of the phone looks really premium, the front does not match the same vibe due to the water-drop notch. A mid-range phone coming with a dated water-drop notch does not look very nice. Samsung should have used a punch hole cut out there.

The main camera takes some impressive shots in the daylight conditions. The shots I took were packed with details and looked sharp. The colours were punchy and the dynamic range was wide as well.

Portrait shots were nice. The edge detection was done really well and the background blur was nice. You can adjust the blur level before and even after taking the shot. The low-light shots were not up to the par. Night mode helps to boost the brightness in the image but they still lack in details and clarity.

Ultra-wide shots were decent. The images look nice, but the details were not the same as the main camera. Low-light ultra-wide shots were just bad.
The front camera takes good selfies. The sharpness and detail level was nice. Skin tones looked natural. Low-light selfies were also nice. Portrait selfies did a good job as well. Good details and on-point edge detection.

Samsung Galaxy A34 packs a big 5000mAh battery which lasts pretty long. I got more than 6 hours of screen on time from it. A light user can easily get about two days of battery backup from it.
Whereas if you are someone who plays a lot of games, you will need to charge it by the evening. I played Apex Legends and COD Mobile for a little more than half an hour and the battery dropped by 6 per cent.

While the battery backup is pretty good, the charging speed is not. It comes with only 25W of fast charging support and no charger is provided in the box. You only get a type-C to type-C cable in the box.
I had an 18W charger which took about 2.5 hours to fully charge the phone from 0 to 100 per cent, which is darn slow. It will still take more than 1.5 hours if you use the 25W fast charger.

Well, Samsung never goes wrong when it comes to the display part and the same is the case here. Samsung Galaxy A34 features an FHD+ 6.6 inches Super AMOLED display. It has a 120Hz refresh rate which makes the user experience really smooth.

Be it navigating through the UI or playing games, you can tell the smoothness and responsiveness of the display. I really enjoyed my time using the screen. Moreover, it gets plenty bright. I had no trouble using it under the direct sunlight.

You can also adjust the refresh rate in the display settings &#8211; High and Standard. There is no auto refresh rate mode, it’ll be 120Hz or 60Hz. You can also adjust the screen mode and tune the colours as per your liking.

The display offers punchy and vivid colours. The viewing angles were also good. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and I really enjoyed it. Bezels are also thin which really enhances the content consumption experience. However, the dated water-drop notch does spoil the experience a bit.

The Samsung Galaxy A34 performs everyday tasks smoothly without any issues. I did not face any issues or lags while using the phone. It is powered by the Dimensity 1080 chipset which is paired with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

Apps open up quickly and they stay in the background for a long duration. I opened them after hours and they were still where I had left them. You can do multitasking easily on this. I have to say that Samsung has done a good job in RAM management.
You can even play graphic-intensive games on it. I ran COD Mobile, Asphalt 9 and Apex Legends Mobile on it. COD Mobile could run at High graphics and Very High frame rates, while Apex Legends could run at Ultra HD graphics and High frame rates. All the games ran smoothly and there were only occasional lags and frame drops.

The Samsung Galaxy A34 runs on One UI 5.1 which is based on Android 13. The UI feels like a typical Samsung phone and is very easy to use. You get features like multi-window, gestures, dual apps for social media and more.

There is some pre-installed bloatware on the phone including Byju’s, Prime Video, Snapchat, Truecaller, Spotify, Netflix and Facebook. Good thing is that you can uninstall all of them from the settings.

Nokia has launched its latest X30 smartphone in the Indian market. The company calls it the most eco-friendly phone till date. It comes as a premium mid-range phone with simple design language and good specs.
The phone runs on Snapdragon 695 chipset and is backed by a 4200mAh battery. You get a nice AMOLED display and a 50MP primary camera. The lightweight design paired with the white colour option looks and feels eye-catchy.
But is it worth spending almost 50K? We’ll read till the end to find out. I have the Nokia X30 5G with me, and here’s my review of the same.

So… it&#8217;s a Nokia, right? Must be well built. Jokes apart, Nokia X30 5G comes with an aluminium frame with a polished finish and a plastic back panel with a matte finish. The whole body is made of mostly recycled material and that’s why Nokia calls it the most eco-friendly phone till date.

The phone feels solid and rigid in hands and has a nice feel to it. It does look like a premium phone at first look. I have the white variant with me which gives out an expensive phone vibe and the phone is also available in blue colour.

The camera unit on the back protrudes a bit and there’s a Nokia branding on the centre of the backside. It’s pretty lightweight and easy to carry, weighing just about 185 grams. On top of that, it comes with an IP67 rating and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. So yea, it is pretty well built.

The right side has a power button along with volume buttons while the left side is clean. The bottom side holds the type-C port, loudspeaker and SIM card slot.

Nokia X30 5G features a dual camera setup on the back which includes a 50MP main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide lens. The front side has a 16MP selfie camera housed inside the punch-hole cutout.

The main camera takes some really good shots in daylight conditions. It captured the details however the images had some colour shift sometimes. The dynamic range was wide and the overall images turned out good.
There’s a night mode to take pictures in low light. The low-light shots turned out nice with good details and nice colours. However, the noise creeps in and the images turn out smudged sometimes.

The ultra-wide shots were impressive. The 13MP lens manages to capture the details. The images were punchy and definitely usable.
The front camera takes pleasing selfies in outdoor conditions. The images were sharp and skin tones looked natural to me. Detail level was fine and the dynamic range was good. The quality drops as you go indoors.

Nokia X30 5G packs a 4200mAh battery which does not seem like a good option. The phone offers a decent battery backup but it would have been much better with the usual 5000mAh battery which we see nowadays.
Nonetheless, it lasts around a full day of casual use. I still had some juice left while heading to bed to scroll Instagram. But if you are a heavy user, you will definitely need to charge it during the day.

It comes with 33W fast charging support which is again much slower than what the compression offers. But what’s even more depressing is that you don’t get the adaptor in the box. Wrong path Nokia. Anyways, the 33W fast charger takes about an hour to fully charge the phone. A half an hour charge would take you to around 70 per cent.

Nokia X30 5G features a small and compact FHD+ 6.43 inches AMOLED display. It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a peak brightness of 700 nits. Well, it&#8217;s not the smoothest or brightest display in the segment.

However, it&#8217;s good enough for casual use. Anyways you won’t notice much difference between a 90Hz display and a 120Hz display during everyday use. You do get the option to switch between standard and adaptive refresh rates.

It&#8217;s an AMOLED panel, so there’s not much to say about the quality. It produces vibrant and punchy colours. The blacks were deep and the contents on the screen looks sharp. Thanks to the compact screen size, it was perfect for scrolling Instagram reels and one-hand usage.

I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and my viewing experience was good. However, there was no HDR playback support. On the other hand, it comes with Widevine L1 certification so you can watch high-quality content on OTT platforms.

Nokia X30 5G does not do very well in the performance department. I don’t mean it&#8217;s bad, it&#8217;s just way behind if we compare it to similarly priced phones. The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset which we see in phones which are costing less than half of its price.

The processor is paired with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. Nokia should have used the Snapdragon gen 1 at least if not the latest Gen 2. Nonetheless, the phone runs well in everyday usage. Apps like Instagram and Snapchat run smoothly.
However, don’t expect to run graphic-intensive games on high settings. You can play COD Mobile and Asphalt 9 on low-medium settings to get a playable experience. If you try to play on high settings, you will encounter frame drops and lags.

Overall, it&#8217;s good enough for casual gaming but if you are a hardcore gamer, there are better performing phones in the market for lesser price.
Nokia X30 5G runs on Android 12 with stock UI. Hopefully, the Android 13 update would be coming soon. Nokia promises three years of major OS updates. There is some bloatware in the system but you can uninstall it. Overall, the UI feels simple and easy to navigate.

Vivo has launched its all-new V27 series and the Pro variant is the first one to make its way into the Indian market. And that is why the Vivo V27 Pro is going to be the focus of this review.

There’s a new Dimensity 8200 chip and a 50M triple camera setup on the back. It offers a solid battery backup along with 66W fast charging support.

The Vivo V27 Pro comes with a great design which is not very different from its predecessor. It comes in a slim profile and weighs just about 182 grams making it easy to hold in hands for a longer duration.

The glass back panel has a glittery matte finish which feels nice in the hands. But that’s not it, the real highlight of the phone is the colour changing element. I have the blue variant with me, and the back panel changes its colour to dark blue when exposed to sunlight.
You will see a big rectangular camera island on the back which houses three lenses and a ring LED light. It does protrude a bit but looks really cool as well.

The curved edges merge with the plastic frame to offer a premium but not-so-sturdy grip. Though it looks very good, the build quality could have been better. Note that there is no IP rating on this phone.
The right side has the power button and volume rockers, while the left side is clean. The bottom side houses the type-C port, loudspeaker and SIM card slot.

The 50MP main camera takes great shots in daylight conditions. The photos I took came out crisp and detailed with punchy colours. Even the low-light shots were pretty good. You get a ring LED flash on the back which comes in handy while taking low-light shots.
The portrait shots were fantastic. Edge detection was on-point and the blue effect looked natural. Colours were fine and the images had a bit of a saturated tone. Overall, the main camera is impressive and can handle different lighting conditions.

The ultra-wide shots were good as well. The detail level was decent and the colours looked vibrant. The 2MP macro lens is nothing special to talk about. It takes okay-ish macro shots in daylight conditions.
The 50MP front camera takes fantastic selfies. Be it the details, sharpness or colour accuracy, everything was superb. Even the portrait selfies were great.

Vivo V27 Pro packs a 4600mAh battery which is paired with 66W fast charging support. The phone offers a decent battery backup. A light user can use it for a whole day and still be left with some charge for the next day.
While if you are a heavy user, you might need to plug in the charger by the evening. I got about 5-6 hours of screen on time which is not bad. You also get a battery-saving mode which further extends the battery life.

Good thing is that the phone comes with a 66W fast charger in the box. The 66W fast charger takes about 50 minutes to fully charge the phone from 0 to 100 per cent. A quick charge of 15 minutes juices up the battery to about 40 per cent.

Vivo V27 Pro features a stunning FHD+ 6.78-inch AMOLED display which offers a flagship level viewing experience. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. I don’t have to tell you this, but it gets plenty bright under direct sunlight. I did not face any issues while using it outdoors.

If we talk about performance, the phone can easily handle demanding tasks. Everyday use was seamless and apps opened up in a jiffy. Be it Instagram scrolling or editing photos for your social media post, I did not notice any lag or shutter.
You can even play graphic intensive games on the V27 Pro. I tried a couple of titles, including BGMI, COD and Ashalpt 9. All the games ran smoothly on high settings. Even after playing for about an hour, I did not see any frame drops and there was no sign of overheating.

It&#8217;s pretty slim at just 7.98mm thickness and weighs around 189g, making it lightweight as well. Thanks to it, the phone feels compact and easy to carry around. It also has an IP53 rating, which protects it from water and dust to some extent.

The main camera takes some really good photos in daylight conditions. The photos came out sharp and detailed. The colours looked nice and the dynamic range was wide as well. The portrait shots were also pretty good. Edge detection, background blur and the detail level, everything was handled properly.
However, the same can’t be said for low-light images. Low-light shots were fizzy and had a lot of noise in them. You do get a night mode but that doesn’t help much except for boosting colours.

The 8MP ultra-wide lens is just okay. The images were not detailed but decent for the price. Low-light shots were just not up to the mark. And the 2MP macro lens is just bad. The low-resolution camera fails to take clear and detailed images.
Coming over to the front, the 13MP camera takes nice selfies in proper lighting. The selfies were crisp for most of the time but still had some level of noise in them. Portrait selfies were okay and the bokeh effect struggled around the edges.

POCO X5 packs a big 5000mAh battery which is paired with 33W fast charging support. A heavy user can use the phone for a whole day without needing the charger. But if you are a light user, POCO X5 can survive two days easily offering a solid battery backup.

The phone can fast charge at 33W which takes a little more than an hour to fully charge the phone. A quick charge of just 15 minutes will juice the battery around 35 per cent. There is no support for wireless charging which is no surprise at this price.

The display quality is solid. The colours look punchy and vibrant. It&#8217;s a crisp display with good viewing angles. I watched a couple of videos on YouTube and my experience was really good. Well, of course, you can adjust the refresh rate and colour temperature in the settings as per your liking.

Switching between apps as well as the animations was also smooth, thanks to the 120Hz refresh rate. Heavier apps like Instagram and Snapchat ran without any shutters or lags. So it can handle heavy use as well.
But can you run graphic intensive games on it? I tried playing Apex Legends and Asphalt 9 on it. While Asphalt 9 gave me no trouble and ran smoothly on high settings, Apex Legends was only playable at medium settings. Don’t get me wrong, it can run at high settings as well but then you will notice some frame drops and lags during intense fighting.

In terms of design, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 follows the same footprint as its predecessor. It eschews the same AirPods Pro-like short protruding stem and squeeze gesture area on both earbuds. From silicon tips to its rounded earbud design signature, it distinguishes a lot of its characteristics from Apple&#8217;s beloved AirPods Pro. Fit is a very subjective topic and it totally depends on the shape of your ears. Meanwhile, Each of the earbuds weighs around 4.9 grams, it feels lightweight and throughout my usage, I didn&#8217;t encounter any fatigue or discomfort while wearing them for longer sessions.

Each earbud harnesses a glossy metal accent on its stem coupled with two silver charging contacts, a microphone placed towards the bottom and two speaker grille on its head. This design approach makes it extremely comfortable to wear and fits snugly into your ears delivering a perfect fit for your workout sessions. There&#8217;s no second thought that this design is premium.
It offers IP55 certified rating that can suffice water damage and sweat with the OnePlus Buds Pro 2. It borrows the same pressure-sensitive controls from Apple AirPods Pro to control playback, switching between noise controls and answering or rejecting calls.

The lack of volume controls might be a bummer for some. These gestures can be customized easily within the HeyMelody app. It is available in two colours:- Arbor Green(replacing the white version and Obsidian Black). For conducting this review, we&#8217;re rocking the Obsidian Black Weighing around 48 grams, tossing this charging case into jeans doesn&#8217;t feel bulkier at all. The built-in proximity sensors on each earbud help the music to pause as soon as they’re removed from your ears which works flawlessly well after the latest OTA update.

It also resembles the same design (a rounded rectangular charging case) from its previous iteration, except for the &#8216;Dynaudio&#8217; branding engraved outside and inside the case. This matte finish keeps the smudges, fingerprints and scratches at bay. It sports a tiny LED notification light on its front for sharing the battery status and a Type-C Port for juicing up the battery. This case is also IPX4 rated which offers water resistance.

The OnePlus Buds Pro 2 supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity with three supported audio codecs:- SBC, AAC and LHDC. The only omission is LHDC (Low Latency High-Definition Codec) is a rare audio codec and is only supported by a limited number of devices like the Oppo Find X5 Pro and the OnePlus 11. The LDAC is more widely available than the LHDC for hi-res audio playback. With Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, it establishes a stable connection between smartphones, there were no audio hiccups that were faced during our usage. If you&#8217;re someone who keeps fiddling with two devices, manually disconnecting and reconnecting can be a surreal pain, it supports Multipoint pairing where it can be paired with two devices simultaneously.

Just like Airpods Pro and WF-1000XM4, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 supports Spatial audio with head-tracking for a 360-degree audio experience. However, it&#8217;s worth noting that this feature is currently limited to OnePlus 11. These earbuds can be paired with Android as well as iOS devices and managed by the HeyMelody app to access a bunch of controls. The Game mode reduces the latency rate to sync the visual and audio for a lag-free gaming experience.

The Zen Mode Air bundles 5 ambient sounds to download on the earbuds for listening while gym or yoga sessions for a relaxed and focused workday. Meanwhile, the Earbud Fit Test helps in choosing the right sized ear tips for a perfect seal and fit, Golden Sound refined the sound quality on the basis of ear canal structure and by running various hearing tests for a personalized audio experience. After the completion of the frequency report, the EQ is adjusted which tweaks the treble on the heavier side and tunes the audio on the loud and bassy side.

It harnesses dual 11mm+6mm audio drivers, an upgrade from its predecessor which bundled a single-driver setup. These drivers are co-designed by Dynaudio, a Danish firm audio company which was started way back with the Oppo Enco X lineup and appeared to have succeeded. The highs and lows remain unmuffled and bass thumps don&#8217;t cut down on the lows as well. While listening to songs like Toosie Slide by Drake or Therefore I Am by Billie Eilish, the excessive thumping bass and treble don’t undercut the vocals and instrumental claps.

It consists of five EQ presets to choose from:- Balanced, Bold, Serenade, Bass and Hans Zimmer Soundscape Tuning. The Bold preset puts an emphasis on both highs and lows, the Balanced preset delivers a flat-sound experience, Serenade preset makes the treble more noticeable and the Bass preset delivers a thumpy bass response. Of course! If you feel that the bass is not aggressively thumpy, the BassWave feature enhances the strength of the bass boost as per your desired taste. However, this EQ can also be tailored manually as per your liking.

Uttering Active Noise Cancellation, noise cancellation is moderate and it&#8217;s difficult to recommend them while seeking them against its rivalries. It hushes on low frequencies well but the higher and mid frequencies remain usual. But as soon as you fire up some music and increase its volume, it was very rare that I heard any outdoor noise while travelling in a train, car or in a room. To sum up, this ANC experience is not bad but not enough to compete with others.
It comes with four noise control modes:- Mild, Moderate, Max and Smart. Throughout our time, it was set on max settings mostly. However, we noticed a slight difference between switching these modes in a louder environment. It also has a transparency mode which lets in the ambient noise from the surroundings.

The microphone quality deserves applause which most premium true-wireless earphones mostly lack. The three microphones in the earbuds cancel out the external noise with their noise reduction functionality, making the receiver carry forward a conversation smoothly in a home environment and crowded areas.OnePlus claims that the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 can deliver a battery of upto 39 hours of battery backup with its charging case. The charging case holds a 520mAh battery, meanwhile, the earbuds hold a 60mAh battery which can be charged with the case itself for three cycles.

Throughout our time with them, it managed to stand up to what it claims; churning out 8-9 hours without ANC and 6-7 hours with ANC enabled with the standard AAC codec is not a problem. With ANC enabled, it can withstand 19-20 hours on a full charge and approximately 30-31 hours with ANC turned off.
The battery life is good enough for today&#8217;s standard. This charging case can be charged up by plugging in a USB-C and it also supports wireless charging. With the perks of fast charging, juicing the case for 10 minutes can offer 10 hours of playback which is magnificent.

POCO C55 offers a really good design that definitely punches above its price tag. The phone looks like it has a leather back but don’t be mistaken as it&#8217;s actually a plastic back with leather finish. The phone is available in three colour options: Black, Blue and Green.

Trust me on this, the green variant looks awesome. No one can tell it&#8217;s under 10K phone. The in-hand feel is really good and the phone feels like a mid-range device. The backside has a big camera unit which houses the two lenses, LED flash and a physical fingerprint scanner.

Although it does not attract any fingerprints it&#8217;s likely to get develop scratches with time. The phone weighs around 192 grams and POCO has done a good job in weight distribution. It also comes with IP52 rating.

POCO C55 has a dual camera setup on the back which includes a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth lens. The front side has a 5MP selfie shooter housed inside the water drop notch. Well, it won’t be fair to expect good images from an under 10K phone.

But the POCO doesn’t disappoint here as well. The 50MP main camera takes some really decent photos in daylight conditions. The images I took were pleasing to the eye. They had good detailing and the colours looked nice.

The portrait shots were fine in proper lighting. Edge detention was a hit or miss. But overall the portrait shots turned out well.
The 5MP front camera takes soft and washed out selfies. Well, what else to expect from the low resolution selfie camera? Low-light selfies are even worse.

POCO C55 packs a big 5000mAh battery which lasts pretty long. Considering the 720p display and 60Hz refresh rate, the battery backup was expected to be good. I got about two days of battery life on casual use.
Even a heavy user can manage to push it to the end of the day. I got more than 6 hours of screen on time. However, it only comes with 10W charging support which takes quite long to charge this big battery.

The 10W charger takes almost two hours to fully charge the phone. It would have been nice to see 18W fast charging support but never mind. What’s more disappointing is that it comes with a micro USB port and not a type-C port.

POCO C55 features a big HD+ 6.71 inches IPS LCD display which makes it a big phone and a good option for multimedia consumption. It has a standard 60Hz refresh rate and gets decently bright for indoor use.

Well, it&#8217;s only an HD+ resolution display, so you might not enjoy watching content on YouTube and OTT platforms to the fullest. I am not saying it&#8217;s bad, it&#8217;s just not the best display in this price range.
You see a water drop notch which gives it a dated look and a thick chin at the bottom. Other than that, it&#8217;s a decent display and you will enjoy consuming content on the big screen.

POCO C55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset which is paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone handles everyday tasks with ease. Apps like WhatsApp, Telegram and Camera app run smoothly.

The phone packs fantastic specs for its asking price. You get a big 120Hz curved AMOLED display and a powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It has a good 50MP main camera and a solid 5000mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging.

With OnePlus 11 series, the brand has tried to bring a fresh design and it does look really good. It looks exactly like the <a href="https://www.cashify.in/oneplus-11-price-in-india">OnePlus 11</a>. It has a glass back with a matte finish and feels really premium in hands.

The camera module at the back will catch your eyes the moment you look at the phone. The shiny circular camera unit blends seamlessly with the frame. I have the blue colour variant with me but the phone is also available in the black variant.

Both of them have the same finish on the back which does not attract fingerprints and smudges. You also get the beloved alert slider back in the 11 series. The only thing missing here is an IP rating.
The right side has the power button and alert slider while the left has the volume rockers. The top side has the mic and IR blaster. Lastly, the button side houses the type-C port, primary speaker, primary mic and SIM card slot.

OnePlus 11R comes with a triple camera setup on the back. This includes a 50MP OIS main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The front side has a 16MP selfie camera.

The main camera takes some really impressive shots in daylight conditions. The images turned out well-detailed and punchy. The dynamic range was also wide. Although I felt the images were a bit saturated but they were pleasing to the eye.
The portrait shots were also really good. Edge detection was done well and the blur effect looked natural. The ultra-wide shots were pretty nice. The shots were clear but the colours looked a bit faded when compared to the main camera.

The low-resolution macro lens clicks average shots in good lighting conditions. The macro shots were not very detailed. The output gets worse as the light drops.
The 16MP front camera takes good and sharp selfies in daylight. The selfies I took were crisp and the skin tones looked natural.

OnePlus 11R packs a big 5000mAh battery which is paired with 100W fast charging support. The phone delivers a good battery backup with casual use. I easily got more than one day of battery life.
I scrolled Instagram for a couple of hours and watched videos on YouTube. Then it was time to play games in order to deplete the battery. After all that, I got about 6-7 hours of screen on time. Well if you are a light user, you can even survive two days with this phone without the need for the charger.

But in case you do, the 100W charger is fast enough to quickly charge your phone. It takes about 26 minutes to fully charge the phone from 0 to 100 per cent. A quick charge of just 10 minutes will get you near the 50 per cent mark.

OnePlus 11R features a beautiful FHD+ curved 6.74 inches Super AMOLED display. It has a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness of 1,450 nits. The curved display gives the phone a very premium vibe and adds on to the user experience.

It gets quite bright for outdoor use and I did not face any issues while using it under direct sunlight. It&#8217;s a fantastic screen for content consumption. I watched some episodes of Farzi and the dark scenes were really deep.

Other than the display is quite punchy and vibrant. You’ll have a good and immersive gaming experience on the OnePlus 11R. It also has Widevine L1 support along with HDR10+ certification so you can watch high quality HDR content on OTT platforms.

OnePlus 11R is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, the flagship chipset of last year. It is paired with up to 16GB of LPPDR5X RAM which is massive and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. Even though it&#8217;s not the latest chip, it is still powerful enough to handle anything you throw at it.

The phone runs smoothly in day to day activities. Even the intensive apps like Instagram and Snapchat open up quickly. Switching between apps was seamless and I did not notice any shutters or lags while navigating through the phone.
If we talk about gaming, the OnePlus 11R is a capable gaming smartphone. It can handle graphic intensive games without any issues. I ran Apec Legends Mobile and Genshin Impact on it. Both the games ran smoothly on high settings.

OnePlus 11R runs on OxygenOS 13 skin which is based on Android 13. It&#8217;s good to see that it runs the latest Android version out of the box. You get a bunch of customisation and personalisation features including Material You.
