Infinix Smart HD 2021 Price in India
The newest member in the Infinix smartphone portfolio offers an alluring spec-sheet and at a very aggressive price tag. Infinix Smart HD 2021 launch price in India is set at Rs 5,999 and the smartphone gets powered by the MediaTek Helio A20 Processor. The device also gets a whooping 5,000 mAh battery and a single rear and front camera setup.
As a habit of frequently varying the design of its smartphones, Infinix has offered a polycarbonate back on the Infinix Smart HD 2021. The back design of Infinix Smart HD 2021 is quite familiar, thanks to the V-shaped gradient pattern. At the bottom left is where we see a rectangular camera module below which, at the centre, is where the fingerprint sensor is placed. The speaker on the Infinix Smart HD 2021 is also placed at the back, so we get to see just the micro USB port at the bottom of the device. Topaz Blue, Quartz Green, and Obsidian Black are the available colour options.
The button placement is usual with both the power button and volume rockers placed on the right-hand side. The device does get a 3.5mm audio jack that can be accessed from the top. However, the SIM tray finds a spot that is quite old-school nowadays. Yes, the back is removable and the SIM card slot along with the slot for the micro-SD card can be found inside.
Infinix Smart 2021 packs a 6.1-inch IPS LCD panel. But, being an entry-level device, we still get a dated punch-hole camera mechanism and an HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1640 pixels. With a 282ppi pixel density and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, the device gets 76.7% screen-to-body ratio which is decent enough.
The entry-level Infinix Smart HD 2021 runs on Android 10 Go Edition with XOS 6.0 custom skin on top. Under the hood is the MediaTek Helio A20 Processor with quad-performance cores. Unfortunately, we get a single RAM and storage option as the chipset gets paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which is expandable by a micro-SD card. Clubbing this is the PowerVR GE8320 GPU for those graphics and multitasking demanding instances.
You cannot expect much in the camera department of a device that’s priced so aggressively. So, we get a single rear camera on the Infinix Smart HD 2021. An 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture along with a Dual-LED flash with support for HDR is all that you get at the back of the device. At the front, residing in the notch is a 5MP camera with f/2.0 aperture. Both the cameras can record FHD 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Despite being an entry-level device, the battery department of the Infinix Smart HD 2021 really outshines even the costlier rivals in the segment. So, it is backed by a huge 5000mAh battery which is definitely great for the price you are paying for. As expected, there is no fast-charging support for the device.
Infinix’s latest entry-level device is way more worth than its price. Be it the efficient chipset, an outstanding battery, 4G connectivity, Dual-SIM support or the pre-loaded Android 10 (Go) software, the device delivers higher performance than you would expect a device of this price tag should.
