The company launched two new smartphones along with a laptop in an event. Both new Honor 9A and 9S will come with a Full View Display and are powered by MediaTek processors. However, both the devices have its own distinction to set it apart.
The Honor 9A comes with triple rear camera setup, while the Honor 9S has a single camera on its back.
Honor 9A specifications
It features a 6.3-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixels) Full View Display and 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6762R SoC, coupled with 3GB RAM. It also runs on Android 10 and Magic UI 3.1 on top.
In terms of optics, it houses a triple rear camera setup, 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP secondary sensor along with a 2MP tertiary sensor. For selfies, we have an 8MP lens.
Honor 9A has 64GB of onboard storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). The phone comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a rear fingerprint sensor. It supports a battery of 5000mAh and reverse charging.

Honor 9S Specifications
Again, it features a 5.45-inch HD+ (720×1,440 pixels) Full View Display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Honor 9S comes powered with MediaTek MT6762R SoC, along with 2GB RAM. It also runs on Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1 on top.
In terms of optics, there is only one camera in the back (8MP) and a front camera of 5MP.
It has 32GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). Unlike 9A, it houses a battery of 3020mAh.

Price of Honor 9A and 9S
Honor 9A is set at Rs. 9,999 for the 64GB storage variant whereas, Honor 9S has a price tag of Rs. 6,499 for the single, 32GB storage option.
Former is available in Midnight Black and Phantom Blue color options. On the other hand, 9S comes in Blue and Black color options.
The Honor 9A will be available starting 11 am on August 6 via Amazon, while the Honor 9S will go on sale at 12 pm (noon) on the same date through Flipkart. However, for the first sale, 9A is including an instant discount of Rs. 1,000. Also, 9S is also having a discount of Rs.500.

An additional 10 percent discount on the Honor 9A for HDFC Bank customers. Furthermore, both phones will be available with no-cost EMI options for up to six months.
