Just a few days after a successful launch of its new budget smartphone offering by OnePlus. The company is working on the next iteration which will presumably be the OnePlus 8T series.
According to a new report, a string of code in the latest update for the OnePlus Camera app, version 5.4.23, hints at a 64-megapixel sensor. There is no announcement on that front as of now.

The string of code reportedly reads, “64MP offers higher resolution and captures details in well-lit scenes.” It also states while taking burst shots, the app will recommend the user to switch to the 16-MP mode for “better dynamic range.”
The OnePlus 8 series offers a 48MP primary camera and captures 12 MP photos in default. This only confirms that this update is for a newer version of the smartphone.
