Vivo Y55s Launch in India 

A new mid-range smartphone from Vivo has been added to its Y line. The Vivo Y55s 5G, the company’s first smartphone with a massive 6,000mAh battery, makes its Chinese premiere today. The device has two cameras on the back and a huge screen. The gadget is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity CPU and has 8GB of RAM built-in. Vivo Y55s Price in India 

A price of 1699 yuan is charged for the Vivo Y55s which is available in Mirror Blue, Sakura Pink, and Ceramic Black colours (Rs 20,200). The smartphone will be available for purchase in the nation very shortly. There is currently no information on whether or not the smartphone will be available in all countries.

Vivo Y55s Design 

The Vivo Y55s comes with the same v-shaped notch on the front along with a noticeable chin at the bottom. So there is nothing attractive from the front, however, the rear side appears a little attractive with a plane look and the company logo at the bottom left side. The triple-rear camera setup has been placed in a rectangular-shaped camera module along with the LED flash. Also, the overall weight of the Vivo Y55s 5G is 199.8 grams, which is great after having a huge battery inside. The fingerprint sensor is there on the right edge along with the volume rocker.

Vivo Y55s Display 

In terms of display size, the Vivo Y55s has a 6.58-inch screen with a dewdrop notched display. The display is an LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It has a typical refresh rate of 60Hz.

The MediaTek Dimensity 700 CPU, which is constructed on a 7nm production technique, powers the Vivo Y55s 5G. In addition to the Redmi Note 10T 5G, the Realme 8 5G, the POCO M3 Pro, and other mid-range devices are powered by the same Qualcomm CPU. The MediaTek Dimensity 700 is equipped with an integrated Mali G57 GPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. In addition, the device has 4GB of virtual RAM and runs Android 11 with Vivo’s OriginOS 1.0 skin on top.

Vivo Y55s Camera 

On the back panel, there is a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP lens with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front panel, there is an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The secondary camera is useful for macro photography. Vivo claims that users will be able to record an item from as close as four centimetres. Surprisingly, the Vivo Y55s lacks a dedicated portrait mode camera. Additionally, AI (artificial intelligence) camera functions are absent.

Vivo Y55s Battery 

Vivo Y55s is distinguished by its powerful 6000mAh battery, which is the device’s standout feature.  This is the largest battery that Vivo has ever included in one of its smartphones. Furthermore, the phone’s battery will, as expected, be capable of 18W rapid charging. Additionally, a USB Type-C connector is included for charging the smartphone.

Vivo Y55s Verdict 

The Vivo Y72 5G has a number of advantages, including super-fast 5G, a powerful processor, plenty of RAM and storage, and a large battery. In addition to the display’s standard refresh rate and poor fast-charging capacity, Vivo’s Y55s has many other issues, including its high pricing point.
