About the Mobile Phone
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Pros & Cons
The Vivo X70 Pro+ is a high-end flagship smartphone that finally ticks all of the boxes. Unlike the Vivo X60 Pro+, the X70 Pro+ includes everything a premium smartphone should, as well as some unexpected photography capabilities.
The curved-edge display has been improved to a WQHD+ resolution screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1 billion colours, delivering natural-looking colours and great brightness. It also supports HDR10 and HDR10+ for video streaming. The phone foregoes the X60 Pro+’s synthetic leather back in favour of a beautiful matte-finished glass back that is smudge-free. Along the sides, it also features a matte-finished metal frame. Software and overall device performance were not an issue with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ CPU. The games worked nicely with no problems, and the phone did not grow hot when playing. Camera hardware and performance have improved noticeably.OIS is available on all four back cameras, ensuring not just high-quality images but also smooth video.

Vivo X70 Pro Plus Price in India
The Vivo X70 Pro+ costs Rs. 79,990 for the single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The Vivo X70 Pro+ will be available in Enigma Black starting October 12. One-time screen replacement and 12-month no-cost EMI options are also included.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Design
In terms of design, the X70 Pro+ is the finest Vivo has offered to date. Most of its competitors, including the OnePlus 9 Pro, Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, and Samsung’s current top-end Galaxy phones, appear inferior to it in terms of design. There’s a lot of metal and glass in this device, so it’s going to feel nice in your hand.
The massive two-step camera module on the rear panel with large lenses and the ZEISS logo is immediately apparent. The smooth matte finish back repels fingerprints and is pleasant to the touch. Most significantly, the X70 Pro+ is water and dust resistant to IP68. An in-screen fingerprint scanner and a Type-C charging connector are also included. Notably absent is a headphone port and microSD card slot.
Vivo has raised the bar with the X70 Pro+ in terms of design and build quality. However, the X70 Pro+’s large size and above 200 grams of weight makes it tough to operate with one hand.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Display
Officially, the 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen offers a billion colours and HDR10+, with a peak brightness of 1500 nits. The 2K+ display is rich, crisp, vivid, saturated, and bright, with curved edges. The 120Hz adjustable refresh rate considerably freshens the bargain. Colours may be adjusted slightly to achieve a nice colour balance. The Vivo X70 Pro Plus’s display is excellent for nighttime viewing and everyday use.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Performance
The underlying hardware has not been compromised in any way. The X70 Pro+ has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC with 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. You also receive 4GB of virtual RAM to boost performance. There are no hardware performance concerns, which is to be anticipated, and you can run even demanding games and applications on the phone with no problems. On the software front, you get Vivo’s latest FunTouch OS, which is better than the previous version but still plagued by glitches and bloatware.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Camera
The Vivo X70 Pro+ has a total of four cameras on the back. This comprises a wide-angle camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels, an ultra-wide-angle camera with a resolution of 48 megapixels, a telephoto camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels and a 5x optical zoom lens. The smartphone’s 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera has a gimbal for different stabilisation techniques. Optical image stabilisation and autofocus are standard features on all cameras in this lineup. Taking selfies is easy with the 32-megapixel camera located on the front of the phone.
But wait. Vivo has also incorporated a Professional Imaging Chip V1 that aids in frame interpolation, which enhances gameplay and helps the camera with picture brightness and denoising. Additionally, all of the camera lenses have a Zeiss T* coating, which, when combined with software, assists in reducing glare and blurriness in low-light images.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Battery
The 4500mAh battery may be recharged using the 55W fast charger that is included in the package, or it can be charged wirelessly using a 50W wireless fast charger that is available from Vivo separately. As a result, Vivo’s battery life and battery anxiety are not a significant concern. Reverse wireless charging is also supported by the smartphone at a speed of 10W.
Vivo X70 Pro Plus Verdict
The Vivo X70 Pro+ seems to be a potential high-end smartphone. In terms of features, it rivals even the most recent Apple iPhones owing to its luxury appearance, brilliant display, cutting-edge technology, and impressive camera setup. The Vivo flagship’s software, on the other hand, still needs work.
