Vivo V23 Launch in India 

Vivo has unveiled a new smartphone in India as part of its camera-centric V-series. It is dubbed the Vivo V23 series and includes a new smartphone, the Vivo V23. The smartphone is being marketed as a 5G device and has a 50MP selfie camera. The rear design refracts light, creating a two-tone look. The triple back camera phone also has a 64MP primary lens. The Vivo V23 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity SoC. Check out all the features here.

Vivo V23 Price in India 

The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage edition of the Vivo V23 5G is priced at Rs. 29,990. A model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage costs Rs 34,990.  Stardust Black and Sunshine Gold are the colours offered for the latest Vivo smartphone.

In addition to the official website, Flipkart as well as offline retailers will be supposed to sell it. Pre-orders for the Vivo V23 5G will begin on January 5, and the device will go on sale on January 19.

Vivo V23 Design 

The design appears to be the most prominent aspect. For the first time in India, Vivo claims, its new V23 will be able to change colours. The back panel of one of the phone’s variations, named Sunshine Gold, appears to be capable of changing colour depending on how the light strikes it. Vivo hasn’t said how many other colourways will be available without the effect.

V23’s display has flat edges and a relatively thin profile, as well. An eye-catching camera hump that boasts of the VivoV23’s 64MP rear-facing camera sets the standard for midrange smartphone design. 

The rest of the design follows a more typical pattern. In addition to the lack of a headphone jack, the usage of a single speaker, and the quick use of an in-display fingerprint sensor, this phone has a few other notable features. The frame’s aluminium structure lends it a substantial feel.

Vivo V23 Display 

When compared to the V23 Pro, the V23 has a slightly smaller 6.44-inch display, while the V23 Pro has a 6.56-inch display. Despite the fact that both screens are OLED and have 90Hz refresh rates, the V23 Pro’s screen is curved whilst the V23’s screen is flat. With a resolution of 1080 pixels, the Vivo V23 display is ideal for gaming as well as a multimedia experience. 

Vivo V23 Performance 

You may get up to 256GB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM on this phone along with the MediaTek Dimensity 920 SoC, which is less powerful than the V23 Pro’s MediaTek 1200 chipset. Vivo V23 is also provided with Extended RAM 2.0. Virtual RAM provides an additional 4GB of RAM for the system. One of Vivo’s first phones to ship with Android 12-based FunTouch 12 out of the box, the Vivo V23 maintains much of FunTouch 12’s original look and feel despite some minor design tweaks.

Vivo V23 Camera 

On the rear, the Vivo V23 carries a 64MP triple rear camera with a 64MP primary lens that differentiates it from the Pro version’s camera setup, which has a 108MP primary sensor. The rest of the rear sensors are the same with an 8MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP super-macro lens. On the front, there is the same 50MP dual selfie camera with a 50MP primary lens and supplemented with an 8MP super wide-angle camera. For those who are looking for a camera phone, this might be the one to go with since it has arrived in India.

Vivo V23 Battery 

The Vivo V23 has a 4,200mAh battery which is slightly lesser than the Pro Model, yet it can still charge at 44W. This phone’s battery is not especially amazing, but we feel it well enough for most users who use their phones for a range of tasks, such as messaging, making phone calls and accessing the web for movies and playing music.

Vivo V23 Verdict 

The Vivo V23 5G’s superb camera arrangement on both ends ensures that vloggers will be able to shoot high-quality footage at all times (front and back).
