Tecno Camon Launch in India 

On Monday, the Tecno Camon 18T was introduced as an entry-level smartphone in Pakistan. The Tecno Camon 18T is the newest smartphone in the company’s Camon series, and it comes in three distinct colour variants. The 48MP front-facing camera on this inexpensive phone makes it stand out from the competition. In addition, a 48MP camera has been installed on the back of the device. Tecno Camon 18T price in India 

No information on the price or availability of the Tecno Camon 18T is available on the company’s website. A Pakistani e-commerce website is presently selling the phone for PKR 27,999 (roughly around Rs. 11,900). The device is only available in a single configuration, which includes 4GB RAM + 128GB storage space. It is already available for purchase in a variety of colour choices, including Ceramic White, Dusk Gray, and Iris purple, among others. There is no information available at this time regarding when this phone will be released on the foreign marketplace.

Tecno Camon 18T Design 

The real panel is made of polycarbonate and there is a separate frame. The backside is a fingerprint magnet and there is company branding at the bottom right side on the rear panel. Overall, the appearance on the back is stylish with a nice-looking camera module. The frame is also made of plastic and there is a volume rocker, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the right side of the device. 

On the left side of the device, there is a SIM tray, consisting of a dedicated MicroSD slot. There is a Type-C charging port, 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone and speaker grille at the bottom of the Tecno Camon 18T. The Tecno Camon 18P measures 8.9mm and you might feel it thick, however, the device gives a boxy feel and the weight of the Tecno Camon 18T is 200 grams. 

Tecno Camon 18T Display 

There is a 6.8-inch IPS LCD panel with FHD+ resolution. The peak brightness is of the order of 550 nits. The Tecno Camon 18T display lacks a higher refresh rate and comes with 60Hz only. However, there are multiple devices from brands like Infinix, providing a 90Hz refresh rate at the same price tag and it’s disappointing to see a basic refresh rate in this smartphone.

Tecno Camon 18T Performance 

Unfortunately, the chipset remains the same that we saw in the Tecno Camon 17 series. Yes, the Tecno Camon 18T comes with the MediaTek Helio G85 and there is only 4GB RAM available in the Tecno Camon 18T, while there is 128GB of internal storage. As for the operating system, the Tecno Camon 18T runs on Android 11 and features various pre-installed applications that can be uninstalled easily. 

Tecno Camon 18T Camera 

The main highlight of the Tecno Camon 18T is its selfie camera. Yes, there is a 48MP selfie shooter, which is amazing at the given price point. Also, there is a dual-LED flash on the front side for helping in the low light conditions. Apart from this, there is a 48MP triple rear camera. The primary camera is followed by two 2MP cameras.

Tecno Camon 18T Battery 

Coming to the battery section, the Tecno Camon 18T features a large 5000 mAh battery that will last for almost one and a half days on normal usage. Also, there is an 18W fast charging support. There is a Type-C charging port. 

Tecno Camon 18T Verdict 

If you are interested in megapixels and wish to have a budget-friendly camera phone then the Tecno Camon 18T might grab your attention and you may consider it. However, if multimedia is your main concern and you are into games then you may look for something else since there are other smartphones at the same price offering a 90Hz refresh rate and around 6GB RAM.
