Realme C31 Launch in India

Earlier this month, the Realme C31 had its worldwide premiere in Indonesia, and now it’s making its way to India. There is a huge display and three rear-facing cameras on the Realme C31, the company’s newest entry-level smartphone. It has a Unisoc CPU and a 5,000mAh battery under the hood. Realme C31 Price in India

Realme C31 pricing in India begins at Rs. 8,999 for the 3GB + 32GB storage model and goes up to Rs. 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB storage model. The smartphone is offered in two colour options: Dark Green and Light Silver. According to Realme, the Realme C31 will be available for purchase beginning at 12 p.m. on April 6 through the company’s online shop, Flipkart, and offline retail outlets.

Realme C31 Design

With a thickness of 8.4 mm and a weight of 197 grammes, the realme C31 is the thinnest and lightest smartphone on the market. In spite of its plastic construction, the realme C31 feels sturdy in the hand. While the loudspeakers are housed on the rear rather than the bottom, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner allows you to unlock and secure your phone. The volume control is located on the left side of the phone, next to the dual SIM slot that supports 4G.

There is no Type-C port on the bottom, which some people may find frustrating. A 3.5 mm audio connector and a microphone are located on the phone’s bottom, while its speakers are located on the phone’s back.

The 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen on the Realme C31 has HD+ resolution and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. The top of the display panel has a waterdrop notch. The smartphone boasts an 85 percent screen-to-body ratio. Overall, the display on the gadget is decent, but it isn’t the greatest since it has an HD+ Display.

Realme C31 Performance

This model’s Unisoc Tiger T612 SoC, which has eight cores and can reach a maximum clock speed of 1.8 GHz, is faster than the one in the realme C31’s predecessor. The performance is comparable to that of the Snapdragon 662, so you can anticipate it to be acceptable for everyday usage.

The basic model has 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, while the top model has 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, both of which can be upgraded with a microSD card.

Using the Android 11 operating system, the realme C31 has the realme UI R Edition on top of it. The latest Google security patch for 5th March 2022 seems to be in place for this device.

Realme C31 Camera

The Realme smartphone has a rectangular camera module that houses a triple-camera system and an LED flash. The main camera on the phone has a resolution of 13 megapixels and is equipped with a macro lens and a B&W sensor. It has a 5MP camera that can be used for video calls and self-portraits. Selfies taken with the 5MP front-facing camera are passable but not exceptional. At the very least, Realme should have provided a 13MP front-facing camera, but instead, they opted for a 5MP one.

Realme C31 Battery

The smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support, yet Realme has chosen to charge it through a Micro-USB connector, which is yet another letdown. Realme should have included a USB Type-C connector in their device, but they did not. Additionally, Realme should have included at least 15W charging capability.

Realme C31 Verdict

The Realme C31 is not worth purchasing since it lacks an HD+ IPS LCD display and is also rather expensive. In general, we recommend skipping the Realme C31 in favour of alternative smartphones on the market, such as the Poco M2.
