Generally, smartphone cameras usually go for a four-in-one pixel binning approach wherein the four pixels are merged into one. In turn, it lowers down the overall output resolution, it also results in a brighter image as each pixel gathers more light. However, in Axon 30 Pro 5G apart from the 4-in-1 pixel binning mode for 50-MP images, it can also add a 16-in-1 binning mode that can give an output of 12.5-MP images with brighter shots.

However, at this point, it is still speculations and no confirmation is given by the company.
