The world’s most popular video content platform, YouTube, is owned by Google. YouTube recently revealed that beginning in early 2023, it will expand its partner program. This enables creators to monetise their work by showing advertisements for shorts. Currently, YouTube’s web app features a new function that lets users instantly download videos from the desktop website to their PCs and laptops.
YouTube has enabled a new function that allows viewers to download videos directly, according to a tweet from Utsav Techie. This function is now generally accessible to all users on desktops and PCs. At first, we thought this feature was in testing and still a work in progress.
You can now directly download videos from YouTube
When this post was written, the new functionality was tested with several accounts and is currently available to many people. Just below the video player on YouTube, between the Share and Clip choices, is a download button that allows you to save the video.
If you want to download the video, choose the video quality and click the download button, and the file will be downloaded to your desktop browser.
Only downloads in Full HD resolution are available. 144p (Low), 480p (Standard), 720p (High), and 1080p downloads from YouTube are now supported (Full HD). There won’t be any MP4 files under the download area once the video has been downloaded; instead, it will be kept inside the YouTube website under downloads.
A hardworking, dedicated and fun-loving person who always loves to explore new things, meet new people and try to make every journey worth remembering. Cheers!
