The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12R Pro is scheduled to make its debut in China on April 29, as confirmed by the company via a Weibo post. Prior to its launch, the company also revealed the design, colour options, and key specifications of the smartphone. The Redmi Note 12R Pro will be a part of the Redmi Note 12 series that was launched in China in October 2022. The series includes three models – the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G, Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus.
All three phones have an OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery and a customised version of Xiaomi’s MIUI 13 skin. However, they are powered by different chipsets. The Redmi Note 12 Pro and Pro Plus models feature a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC and the vanilla model features a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 12R Pro: Specifications
Sources suggest that the handset will come in three colours – Black, White, and Gold. It will feature a dual camera setup led by a 48-megapixel primary sensor. Additionally, it will come with a flash and Redmi 5G branding on the rear panel. The phone will support 5G connectivity and feature a power button and volume rockers on the right side.
Furthermore, the Redmi Note 12R Pro will feature a 120Hz OLED display. Along with SGS low blue light certification for eye protection. Additionally, it will come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of inbuilt storage. It will feature a Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 SoC, according to the company. The phone will go on sale in China on April 29, 2023, at 10:00.
